This is a mono-blue control deck I built recently, The whole Idea is to get either Talrand or a Nivmagus out at some point in the game, and not only will I counter their spells but I'll get a 2/2 flyer every time I do it, and excess counters can be used to beef Nivmagus. I've play tested it with everyone I could find, as most got so frustrated they only wanted to play one or two games. It's almost consistent wins, I went 8-1. Aggro gave me a run for my money but what I lost to was mill, and after putting some Elixirs in it seemed to fix the problem on his second go. Nivmagus Elementals are less preferable than Talrand, as I have to sac my spells to trigger him, but if I find myself in an excess of Unsummons I just do that at the end of their turn. They also make very good blockers early on vs. Aggro, before you can counter creatures. I've also managed to ping someone to death with a Judge's Familiar, which proved far more useful than I previously thought. Any comments? Suggestions?
