Deck is meant to just kinda draw into a Master of Waves as fast as possible by planning out turns through Thassa, God of the Sea and Sage Epityr. Aether Vial just provides insane value as a turn 1 play. Shorecrasher Elemental provides great devotion for Master of Waves while being a nice flexible card. Rune Snag allows you to stop early game aggression along with Vapor Snag, ending tempo. Minamo allows you to untap Nykthos, which is insane late game. If Master of Waves can't win you the game then Phyrexian Metamorph can. Master of Waves token generation + Bident of Thassa provides great card draw, and can force your opponent to attack into your chunk blockers, which is amazinggg late game.
