Mono grave devotion

Standard BRG (Jund)

Sideboard

Work in progress. I know this deck is weak to a few strategies/cards out there. But any feedback is welcome.

The game plan is to start filling the grave with creatures as quickly as possible. Then use Strength from the Fallen or Nighthowler to buff a small utility creature and attack for massive amounts of damage.

card breakdown

Lotleth Troll Evasive creature that can regenerate and help put creatures in the grave. good target for Nighthowler and Strength from the Fallen

Daggerdrome Imp Evasive creature with lifelink. good target for Nighthowler and Strength from the Fallen

Brain Maggot triggers Strength from the Fallen and helps interact with opponent since i'm choosing not to run removal

Burning-Tree Emissary This guy helps me get a super fast start. counts a creature in my grave and helps with devotion for Nylea, God of the Hunt. do not underestimate how good this card is.

Satyr Wayfinder great for smoothing out mana, chump blocking, creature count in the grave, and a body for a Nighthowler or sftf trigger.

Courser of Kruphix life gain, filters mana off the top of the deck, helps devotion, triggers constellation. plus he has a big butt for blocking. works great with scry lands and Satyr Wayfinder and Commune with the Gods

Nighthowler synergies with all the cards in the grave and is a resilient way buff creatures. and triggers constellation.

Nyx Weaver triggers constellation, fills the grave, and in a pinch can go fetch a card out of the grave. I often use him to get a SFTF and cast it same turn for the win.

Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord great in any graveyard deck. big body and can fling huge creatures when blockers are a problem. this guy is very strong the longer the game goes on. plus helps with devotion

Nylea, God of the Hunt triggers constellation, gives creatures trample to help get through chump blockers

Commune with the Gods fills the grave and searches for needed cards.

Strength from the Fallen the card that makes this deck works. it stacks great and i am always happy to draw one.

Whip of Erebos mostly for lifelink. getting 15 life for a chump block gets out of hand very quickly. or whip back your needed card for a win.

suggestions welcome.
