Hey guys, I'm working on a liquimetal land destruction deck and I was looking for advice on how to improve it. Right now I'm looking to make it more reliable, because it seems very inconsistent and with no win condition besides Dingus Egg
Reasons for each card:Forest- Well to have mana (not sure if this is right amount)Tectonic Edge/Ghost Quarter- To remove non-basic lands if neededDryad Arbor- Honestly I have no idea if this card is a good idea but I figured some blockers if things got tough are always useful.
Llanowar Elves- For faster mana access maybe to play splinter or big cards faster.
Reclaim- I figure if I lose an important combo piece this could help out, but I'm not sure having 1 will be very effective.
Tel-Jilad Justice- Destroys artifact and lets me get rid of cards I don't need at the moment. (Like reclaim if I haven't lost anything yet)
Naturalize- Destroy artifacts basically the point of the combo.
Liquimetal Coating- Deck centered around this card.
Mwonvul Acid-Moss- I love this card because it gives me mana AND destroys opponent mana :D
Dingus Egg- To hurt enemy while they get mana screwed. Basically my win condition
Mold Shambler- I'm not sure about this card but it's a decently powerful card (3/3) and if i kick it I can get rid of any permanent straight away. (6 mana with kicker though)
Splinter- DESTROY ALL THE LANDS
Acidic Slmes- 2/2 deathtouch with land destruction (Downside is high mana cost)
Conjurer's Closet- Solely to be able to bounce Acidic Slime and destroy more things, not sure if it's worth it
Isochron Scepter- To repeatedly be able to use naturalize and tel-jilad
Karn, Silver Golem- An attempt at putting in a strong body that could also give my closets a secondary purpose.
Ancient Stirrings- To search for liquimetal and Isochron Scepter
I've also heavily considered Sculpting Steel, Viridian Revel, and Deus of Calamity, but really need advice on how to fix this deck to make it workable. I'd rather keep it mono-green if at all possible. Thanks for all the help guys!
