I have really enjoyed the Pauper Commander format of late and have been working on a cycle of 5 mono colored decks.I like Plated Crusher as a general; it is a massive, evasive monster with built in protection. Once Plated Crusher sticks, it is hard to remove. Green's strengths are ramp and massive creatures, and this deck plays to that; ramp hard and play the biggest dudes on the field.Most of the cards seem self-explanatory but a few seem worth mentioning: Wirewood Savage can net quite a few cards as the general and quite a few of the creatures in the deck are beasts. Gilt-Leaf Seer helps card selection and is as close to repeatable draw as we can get.With a land base of just forests Gaea's Touch can accelerate the deck massively if played early and the ability to sac for 2 green mana is great too. With a decent opening hand that includes Gaea's Touch, Plated Crusher can be played as early as turn 3.
