Mono Black w/no splash. I hate having off color mana and the other color cards stuck in hand.

Sideboard is still in the works. The idea here is just destroy their hand some w/Thoughtseize and LBZ, then smack them w/Herald and Master. I started in Ice Age and quit after Onslaught Block, so I remember the goodness of Corrupt back in Urza's Block. This just gives me more drain opportunities. Originally this deck relied on Corrupt and Sanguine Bond helping to double the effect, but I ended up back on a devotion based build, altho the Sanguimancy never made it back in.

Need to start flushing out Abrupt Decay and Hero's Downfall w/Herald before laying Master, b/c my friend always seems to have an answer for him. Always nice to get rid of Thunes, Blood Barons and Brimaz before he plays them tho. Blood Baron or an Active Archangel is often Scoop Phase, altho I have Corrupted the Angel before if needed.
