Yes, this is mono red control. You want to play your favorite color but control is your favorite archetype? Look no further for this deck is exactly what you need. Crush your opponent's life total with burn spells and powerful dragons while keeping their pesky creatures under control with your board wipes. Ask help from other red planeswalker like yourself named Koth and Chandra and use Worldfire with Greater Gargadon which is just a funny combo that requires too much mana but is really cool.

Mainboard and Sideboard Changes — May 5, 2015

Mainboard: I slightly tweaked the mainboard, adding Simian Spirit Guide for turn two Blood Moons and removed some boardwipes. They were just too many and I often found them sitting on my hand for many turns against control matchups. Added another moon to go with the spirits and a Koth of the Hammer.

Sideboard: Removed the Skullcracks completely and with some other minor changes managed to fit in one more Worldfire and some Greater Gargadons for a funny little combo against slower decks. I can suspend Gargadon turn 8 and cast Worldfire turn 9, while it's still on the stack I can sac my lands to cast my Gargadon sooner and kill him while he struggles to find an answer.
