Maybeboard

This deck is a budget mono-red commander. Initially it was intended to be a fast paced aggro deck that pressed board states, but it has evolved. First, expect your brain to truly hurt as you use the stack to the maximum. Secondly, this deck relies strongly on the commander, but protection in mono-red is expensive, so expect to swap out budget cards if you want it to be more competitive.

Now how does this deck go? You only need 2 lands in most hands, looking to play mana rocks, synergy pieces, and rummage effects (like Thrill of Possibility) if you lack lands in hand. Try not to spend instants/sorceries other to find land drops before playing your commander. Copy your draws for lots of fuel or slow down your gameplay with some of the draw artifacts (Deck of Many or Mind's Eye). If you want to truly protect your gameplan or truly pop off you'll spend even more turns playing synergy pieces, but if you have enough draw, don't be afraid to spend your hand to make the board cleaner.

This deck is extremely sink or swim, but also your brain will hurt immensely to remember your triggers, the order of the triggers, and how much mana you kept floating. If you can pull out enough synergy pieces you can genuinely kill all opponents in a turn, or in some cases you asymmetrically clear the entire board.

There is still some need for playtesting, because the first few turns of this deck can be brutally slow and spending your fuel without going to the third trigger can be dangerous, which can leave you in a state without any way to refuel/interact, especially if the commander is removed as well. The heavy discard from the commander also means that holding onto your safety/interaction can be nearly impossible, but commander protection like equipment makes the deck even slower than it is (even if you ignore how they all cost way too much). The discard also means that you likely want to play your refuel cards before it's too late, making pop off turns take even longer. Also land is extremely low in this deck (purposefully to reduce land draws later on/cheap cards anyhow), so expect to mulligan once or twice to get the 2+ land hand.
