The idea of this mono U deck is to clear a path so you can kill with thing in the ice, rise from the tide. There is a combo i have in this deck which is delver of secrets with runechanter's pike if you are up against a control deck with not very many creatures with big creatures you would want to switch runechanter's pike with vedalken shackles...
