An upcoming dtk card, Secure the Wastes seems like a great addition to this deck in the slots taken up by Raise the Alarm. It does cost more early game to bring in the 2 creature tokens, but late game when dictate and spear are hopefully in play already, it can be used to flood the field with a few blockers before going in for the kill. It also synergizes well with mardu woe reaper and its graveyard emptying ability, which is great against Whip of Erebos and any delve dependent build. Another card to look out for is Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit. Although it would be amazing for her ability to trigger off all creatures and not just non-tokens, it keeps with the uptick theme of this build. Food for everyones thoughts :)

To DecistroYer : I was about to jump off my chair and protest when I read ''in the slots taken up by Raise the Alarm'', but the more I thought about it, the more Secure the Wastes made sense as a addition or even replacement !Raise the Alarm is a better early game card as it's the definition itself of a efficient white 2 mana spell, but draining all that extra mana into a extroardinary X=3 or more Secure the Wastes is absolutely insane with a Spear of Heliod or Dictate of Heliod in play ! And it works well with another upcoming addition, Arashin Foremost since the tokens are Warriors. Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit is a very powerful card, but her mana cost is a bit akward with Radiant Fountain in my deck. If you were to run her , Id suggest you to cut the Radiant Fountain. Thanks for your suggestions and feedback as always :-) !

For more synergy, replace Soldier of the Pantheon with Dragon Hunter! Protection from multicolored isn't that important anyway.
And I don't know if you much vigilance... but if you do, run Herald of Dromoka!

Return to the Ranks would be a great addition here. Maybe one main for board wipe insurance and an extra in the side.

Maybe running 2x secure and 2x raise the alarm would work? That way there's still a chance for that early game 2 drop and the late game clincher, and since they both use the same basic mechanic, it wont mess too much with the consistency of the build

Elspeth is a good add with the theme of the deck I believe. I bought this deck when I see it on here and threw 2 elspeths in. Once u have spear of Helios (t3) and dictate of Heliod on board (t5 I hope), if u have elspeth on t6, you can +1 her and boom, 3 4/4 Warriors, putting you out of bile blight and drown in sorrow range, creating a nice wall and an imposing attack force. Ajani is good as well but personally I would use him for his -2 ability to pump up elspeth. If u have ajani in play with at least +4, done right, u can ultimate her ONE turn after u cast her, and pretty much GG.

That's who I thought to add. I'm first going to add 1 or 2 more Soul of Theros then maybe a Elspeth if I have some left over cash. Thanks I'm will be using this deck for my next tournament.

I feel like it's worth running red in this deck - especially with token generators like Hordeling Outburst and cards like Impact Tremors.
March 24, 2015 4:11 p.m.
Think red is indeed a very interesting color to add in this deck. Was thinking about it just when I saw Impact Tremors. Hope I pull it, so I can try it out.
In any case, this seems like a very cool deck and I'm trying to assemble the cards! :)

I splashed black in mine. Ultimate price is a must for Stormbreath dragon, and bile blight keeps the rabblemasters in check. Murderous cut is also good against multicoloreds

Where is Secure the Wastes??!! Such a good card and perfect in a warrior token deck. Replace the Triplicate Spirits.

To CurtainSnatch, JamestheJoo, Eurydice : Red isnt a color that I would be very impressed by as a splash. Hordeling Outburst, while being a excellent card, has a mana cost and being able to casting it easily on turn 3 alongside other colored cards would be pretty tough... R/W decks have a solid mana base with Battlefield Forge and Temple of Triumph, but theses 2 lands are pretty expensive and I dont want to compromise the budget tag of my deck just for that. if you read my description, you should know that splashing a second color is, more often then not, a trap if you're on a budget. And finally, I want my deck to be unique. R/W might be better a better choice for you if you've got the money and prefer to compromise consistency for power/utility. I really dont know why everyone is so hyped over Impact Tremors... the card sucks ! It's cute and all to do 1 damage per creature, but the card is a 2 mana enchantment, it doesnt give you any relevant presence on the field, it's conditionnal and the 2 drop slot is already jammed with good cards. And the card is possibly the worst turn 5 and + topdeck you could imagine : It's frickin useless once you ran out of gas ! I'd much rather draw a Plains then that.To DecistroYer : Good idea ! Also, I dont know if I've said this to you before, but thanks a lot for all the feedback and FNM results you gave me in the past 2 months or so :-)To EnderSlayer13 : Just be patient ! I'll certainly add this card to my deck as a 4x, I just need to tweak and refine my decklist a bit with the new cards from DTK. I have been very busy in the past weeks and I havent got much time to update my decks. I'm also currently working on another project. just give me a week or 2 and I'll come up with a update.

No problem! Glad I could give some feedback :) also, played at a win-a-box last night, it didn't go so got. UB and Esper control have gotten insane with the new set. Silumgars scorn, dig through time, and anticipate are killing the tempo of the build. I had 3, THREE, devouring lights in hand and the mana to cast them all. He swung in with a dragonlord ojutai (has hexproof if u tapped!!!). So I devouring lighted once....dissolved.....then I played devoruing light #2 on top of his dissolve.....he dug through time, dissolved....then I went for broke and tapped my last three for my last devoruing light...and he played silumgars scorn (costs one more mana to resolve a cast spell, or it gets countered. So yeah, definitely side in those glare of heresy against esper control. As for UB control....go aggro, get the lifelink rolling early while they dont have a tableful of mana

Maybe I'm late and this had to be warriors when it started, but why don't you run Megamorph things? Hidden Dragonslayer, Aven Sunstriker, and Misthoof Kirin would go well with Mastery of the Unseen I think.

Ive played misthoof Kirin and its definitely a card that can get out of hand if played right. Its not popular, so if played with an anthem or two on the field, it can be devastating
April 17, 2015 10:56 a.m.
To shadowbndg : Hidden Dragonslayer could be pretty decent in my deck, but it's not the kind of card that I'm super excited about. My local meta currently has a lot of R/x aggro/midrangey decks with 4x Thunderbreak Regent. The card could do well vs theses decks, but even then, it's a bit slow since you have to invest 2 turns and 6 mana to get his effect. I'm not a fan of theses kinds of creatures, with the number of Ultimate Price, Hero's Downfall and Lightning Strike in the format, it's clear that you're not gonna get it to work each time you cast it.To DecistroYer : No matter how well you play it, Misthoof Kirin will remain a weak card... Like I said about Hidden Dragonslayer, I'm not a fan of investment cards like that.... You have to spend 2 turns a 5 mana to flip Misthoof Kirin, which is only a 3/2 flying vigilance, that will be killed by any removal spell and eaten by any dragons. It's not gonna be worth it. A good flying creature has to at least be mana efficient, just play Lightform or even Geist of the Moors instead of the kirin.

i think Arashin Foremost would fit great if you are trying for just tokens instead of Mardu Hordechief, and Hidden Dragonslayer so good.
April 17, 2015 6:26 p.m.
I'm currently building this deck up. I should have every card needed this week and I can't wait to play with it! It looks like tons of fun and pretty good too. I might bring it to FNM too this friday to see what it can do :)!
Thanks for sharing! +1 <3

+1- this is decklist and discussion has given me a lot to think about. I have been trying to build a similar monowhite deck, but less of a token/anthem strategy. Please let me know what you think about my deck

25 lands in a token deck?? Take out two or three of them and put in some other cards like Launch the Fleet and maybe Heliod, God of the Sun.

never mind, only activated abilities
