The downside is that it copies YOUR artifacts only, so it would have the strongest synergy with Sculpting Steel .

Actually its strongest synergy would be with Phyrexian Metamorph .

Hello~ I've build a similar deck if you want any ideas - http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/i-want-one-clone-edh/ - But it's not really updated as to the IRL build. Some suggestions : Soul Foundry. You can use it to print creatures that don't go away. Or if you get meta-morph under it, caged suns. Second Uyo, Silent Prophet. Mad work machine. Copy counters at instant speed and throw um back.

Hmm. I'll think about Soul Foundry . Seems like it'll be a pretty fun thing.
I don't think I'll use Uyo, Silent Prophet . I don't like the idea behind bouncing lands to my hand

Also (Sorry for clogging your comments) Think about Akroma's Memorial . Having their stuff is fun. Having their stuff but better? Priceless

No Gather Specimens ? It would work beautifully when they attempt to resummon their commander after being Pongify 'ed or bounced.
May 15, 2013 1:03 a.m.
Nah, no Gather Specimens . There really isn't too much of a practical use for it beyond what you've said. Unless I'm against a token deck which there isn't too many in my meta. And even then why wouldn't I just use Evacuation or overload Cyclonic Rift ?

Mischievous Quanar might be something to consider. I'd also suggest Bribery , but it's kind of expensive :\
For multiplayer games, one of my favorites for taking other people's stuff is Blatant Thievery . I think the name alone is great, and it can cause all kinds of shenanigans :P
May 24, 2013 12:03 a.m.
Bribery is on my radar, but every deck in my meta use Bribery so I'm kinda tired of looking at it. It'll be in the deck when I feel like putting it in.
Mischievous Quanar seems alright.. I'll have to think about it.
Blatant Thievery is a bit expensive, fun in multiplayer, yes, but expensive.. It'll probably find its way in here at some point though, I don't know what in the deck works or not just yet.
And yes, shenanigans is the main focus of the deck. Especially the new legend rules change that allows all of my clones to copy legends rather than just Sakashima. I can see some stupid things happening with this deck.

No Vesuvan Doppelganger ? no clone deck is complete without that
May 26, 2013 2:09 a.m.
Not sure why Vesuvan Doppelganger isn't here. I guess I wasn't thinking about it when compiling the list.
Nice catch, I'll try to find space for it.

Ahhh...Sakashima the Impostor was my very first EDH deck. It's a shame that the new Legendary rule has taken away some of his uniqueness and thunder though...
Not sure what you're playgroup is like, but monoblue is capable of being pretty mean. Some things I had with my old Sakashima deck...
- Palinchron + Phantasmal Image generates infinite mana. This can be used used to fuel a giant Blue Sun's Zenith to draw your entire deck or target an opponent and force them to deck out, or to buyback Capsize and bounce every permanent on board.
- Mindslaver + Academy Ruins locks a player out of the game.
- Brine Elemental combos with Vesuvan Shapeshifter for the Pickles combo.
- Rite of Replication + Chancellor of the Spires gives you an infinite army of Chancellors
- Cryptoplasm is too slow. IMO, you're better off running a regular Clone so that you can get creatures as well as any ETB triggers they might have.
- I'm a huge fan of Grand Architect in monoblue, especially since you have a decent amount of artifacts.
- I'd rather run Gauntlet of Power over Extraplanar Lens , but it's your choice. The potential loss of card advantage that results from Lens getting blown up shouldn't really matter since you are running blue after all.

The new Legend rule doesn't bother me too much. It allows me to now have two of my opponent's generals at once if it's worth it.
I might consider Palinchron . I keep forgetting that's a card and also goes infinite with Deadeye Navigator which I'm also considering since it does good things with clones.
Mindslaver I'm not going to use. I'm not a fan of locking players out of the game or rendering a player unable to do anything. It's frowned upon in my meta and I'm not that kind of guy,
Same goes for Brine Elemental . Locking people out.
I'm also not a fan of the Rites-Chancellor combo since Rites also needs to be in an opponent's graveyard for it to work.
Cryptoplasm is in the deck because I couldn't find anything better. Could be the thing to cut for Palinchron or Deadeye Navigator .
I don't think I'm going to use Grand Architect . I don't have enough Artifacts or anything for it to really use or abuse since the mana can only be used for artifacts.
I'm sticking with Extraplanar Lens . It's done a good bit of work for another deck of mine so far. that and I find Gauntlet of Power to be not as good as Caged Sun since it also allows my opponents to bank off of the extra mana if they're in the colours.

super cool, what about something like Forced Fruition as an alternate win-con??
August 4, 2013 6:06 p.m.
Nah. Forced Fruition is too group-huggy for this deck. A lot of people in my meta use Reliquary Tower and Fruition will do more harm than good for me.
