With new flying cards in CoreSet2020 inspired me to do this brew.
Every card is there for reason.
Faerie Miscreant
is cheap drop that can draw a card if there are more of them. I'm also thinking about
Rustwing Falcon
, or
Healer's Hawk
.
Warkite Marauder
can get rid off the most dangerous blocker, possibly the only one possible.
Empyrean Eagle
and
Favorable Winds
need no explanation.
Sphinx of Foresight
gets more relevant with London mulligan. Plus, 4/4 flying for 4, is deece. In my opinion even better than
Sphinx of New Prahv
.
Sephara, Sky's Blade
as finisher, that protects rest of the board is fine. Important is her alternative casting cost, even tapping whole board for her should be OK.
Winged Words
is an autoinclusion. (It doesn't need attacking like
Chart a Course
, and that might be helpful.)
Deputy of Detention
and
Unsummon
simply clear the way for swinging, a get rid off possible threats (at least for a while).
And finaly,
Negate
and
Essence Scatter
are fine additions to my collection of Azorius Flying Tempo.
Mana base doesn't have to include all dual lands available. I have some ecperiences with two colored decks with minimal fixing and I was fine.
I'm not really familiar with standart enough, so if you know how to improve this deck in any way, don't be shy and share your ideas!
