Can you take a look at my deck:its-mean-and-its-green deck? Its really the cost effective build, but i think it will work really well, though you seem to be the authority on mono green so I just thought I'd ask in case you get a sec to check it out :)

Thragtusk needs to be in your mainboard. a 5/3, plus gaining 1/4 of your life back, plus, a 3/3 if he is removed is ridiculously broken. he is easily the best green card in standard right now, if not the best card of any color.

@Azreal173 of course any time someone sees green they immediately go "No Thragtusk ? Well that's your first problem". I think this is pretty solid for costing him barely over the price of 2 thrags for the entire thing. Besides, I think it's more impressive to see someone build a solid deck without having to use 25-dollar cards out of necessity. Play outside the meta.

Completely agree with the above comment, im making my own green right now (deck:its-mean-and-its-green) and the most expensive card ill be having in it is Wolfir Silverheart and I am trading for those xD

i would agree that the deck is solid, and I also LOVE to see decks that try to do new and interesting things, I was just saying that he should move the two Thragtusk s in his sideboard into his main deck. If he has them in his sideboard, he might as well use them...

I honestly wouldn't know what to replace. I made my own modified version where I ran 23 lands and card:Ranger's Guile instead of the Mask of Avacyn . Of course Thragtusk is fantastically useful but everything already works so well together, what would he take out? Maybe 1 Wolfir Silverheart and 1 Increasing Savagery ?

I have a similar deck with this - but with splash black for corpsejack menace and charms.

The big killer for this deck is anything with flying creatures. I would throw in some rangers guile and some plummets in the sideboard. the spiders are good too, which you already have.
