Get Kharn out, loaded up with powerful equipment, and then use pingers and creature-borrowing spells to make sure he's hurting your enemies more than he hurts you.

Budget is $100, and I'm sneaking in some personal favorites (particularly Argentum Armor), that might be suboptimal but are just to my taste.
