Yeah, I figured as much. Personally, I feel like Elspeth, Sun's Champion is going to pay off more in the long run, what with 3 dudes per turn, or killing Blood Baron and Stormbreath, or making everything lethal. Overall, Elspeth is good. How is your draw consistency wih Elspeth as a One-of?

The goal of the One-off Elspeth, Sun's Champion is to ensure that I won't get an opening hand that leaves me mana screwed. She's a nice bomb but I win regularly without ever seeing her in a night. I can even side her out against aggro and it doesn't make a large difference.

Hey all! So I've been messing around with the prime suggestion of Daxos of Meletis , I can't deny he is fun to have swinging about, I also can't deny that he's effective. BUT if I'm facing a deck without the levels of removal to make Fiendslayer Paladin a necessity, Brimaz, King of Oreskos remains, well, king.

Why?

Though he does not trigger Archangel of Thune , he works exceedingly well with Ephara, God of the Polis , Path of Bravery , and Spear of Heliod .

What have I learned though?

Daxos of Meletis is fun as balls and annoying as hell. He shreds peoples tempos and quickly gives you a healthy card advantage. Long story short, I'm putting together an EDH deck with him as the Commander. Daxos Combo Breaker
