a one card splash of 2 copiesCathartic Reunion could make those near top decker sessions keep the engine going, maybe a 4 of Faithless Looting and a bojuka bog or 3, then you could toss Terminate in the board with some land hate splash, cause tier one iron decks will crash and burn with that plan....smash is fun but the gorilla in your opening hand is a good lock against affinity, 4 of him and i'd mull down to him and a mountain.... just random inspirations as i looked

The Shaman makes sense for the board, but adding in bog's and terminates and looting spells makes this a worse burn deck IMO, if I'm casting a spell I want it to do damage, I'm not playing enough land to loot and burn.

Rakdos burn is an awesome list though, but this is not that list. Tormenting Voice and Reunion fit great in that list because you're running a lot of the madness burn spells and a good amount of flashback.

true, I'm just thinking my main problem with this deck archetype is running out of steam so that was my thoughts about that at that point in time

PooperDix I get ya, that's the inherent problem with burn, it's either over real fast...or you have a strong case of the feel bads when you rip your 4th land.

PooperDix Flame Jab is a devious card for a deck like this, it seems good, but in all honesty, if you're drawing enough lands to make flame jab a threat, you're probably losing anyway haha.

Even though it includes the art for one of my all time favorite Swamps, I don't think it makes the deck. Possible sideboard inclusion, but doubtful. Thanks for the intrest in the build and the input. Cheers!

I just discovered retrace, IDK, I just played the hell out of raven's crime and thought the mechanic was sick. It' could be the extra 2 life you need to before they draw feed the clan idk....

I do love ravens crime though, and run it in my jund deck and in my Rakdos discard/control list Ernest Borgnine...its a great card.

i gotta say, I am a big fan of all of your brews! You have some really fun ideas. I'm a big burn fan and really dig your list. I have been running something similar with Reckless Abandon + Keldon Marauders which has been a really fun combo. Keep the brews comin!
