So how does this deck fair in the early game it seems like it would move very slow and if you get behind on your land drops your dead meat.

Good day good sir knight, I feel it is my most supreme duty to thank you for your service to the realm. I would be also most pleased to learn of your musings upon the release of our newest and most brightest set, Throne of Elraine.

Basically, there's Emry, Oathsworn Knight, Kenrith, some castles, and I'd like to use Charming Prince as the betrothed boy (man?) in the tower (message for you sir!). I saw some of these and immediately thought of making this deck, and I'm ridiculously glad I came across this decklist of yours. I'd like to use it for inspiration. I also love that you've got the altered cards included!

Thanks Zuchen I am currently considering updates to the deck with Throne of Eldraine cards, I just judged at Commandfest chicago! I will be adding Oathsworn Knight, Kenrith, and Questing Beast at the very least. Oko can also turn things into MØØSE, and their bites can be very nasti. hydramaster12. There is a good amount of ramping, between safehold quest, cultivate, wood elves, and karametra. Mostly the deck is played for fun, however I do see where you're coming from. I'm also adding knight of the reliquary and maze's end and gates to fix mana. Mostly people don't kill me as they are enjoying the deck and I try to forge alliances through politics. I'll be doing a revamp of the deck soon.

The new Brash Taunter works well as the nasty french men. I have been planning on doing some alters to a deck that I am building that is very similar. Using Kenrith, the Returned King as my commander. Some other cards that I found:

Diligent Farmhand Roger the shrubber Deadbridge Chant The bridge of death

Profane procession fits the monks who hit themselves

I had deadbridge chant in for a while, it works as both the bridge of death and also the monk's chanting. Currently I am working on a bant version of the deck that focuses a bit more on knights. I'll post the list in the next couple days!
