They have the everything turn to frog card that might be good.

Angus300, why is that? I mean as far as polymorphing in Standard goes, it's one of the best creatures to go into. Do you have a suggestion of something that may be better? Out of curiousity, because I'm looking for any good big creature suggestions.

At 8 mana I just don't see how it ever gets played. I understand you're control based and you're trying to delay the game but I just don't see how an 8 mana 5/5 with a meh perk is good. It's way outside your curve and with no mana ramp.

The point isn't to hardcast Ashen Rider though, the point is to use a Polymorph effect on a Soldier token or Nyx-Fleece Ram to cheat him or Stormtide Leviathan onto the battlefield.

I would consider running Bile Blight or Doom Blade over Silence the Believers for now. If your intention was to be legal for post rotation, this is an interesting build, but I would still consider Bile Blight .

wouldn't the rams just get in the way of jalira's ability? I also don't think that indulgent is good enough to be polymorphing into.
July 14, 2014 4:55 p.m.
I like the idea of using Jalira, Master Polymorphist to sac a Chasm Skulker with some counters of it, to rummage into a Stormtide Leviathan ....
Unfortunately, you would be just as likely to hit a another Chasm Skulker as you would be to hit a Stormtide Leviathan .
...Perhaps using a Stain the Mind type effect on yourself could get rid of the excess ones from your library... kind of an odd stretch to make it work though.

Thassa, God of the Sea would help you by allowing you to scry each turn... if a large creature is on top, leave it there and you can use Jalira, Master Polymorphist to put it into play before you draw... otherwise, it's still a scry. - Since she's Legendary, you don't have to worry about accidentally hitting her with the Jalira, Master Polymorphist ability.
...Jace, the Living Guildpact can do the same thing, and could assist in devotion to Blue for activating Thassa.
July 15, 2014 10:04 a.m.
Of course... if you get Thassa, God of the Sea active in your current deck, it means that that you have Stormtide Leviathan in play... meaning Thassa can't attack (Still a huge indestructible blocker though).
Plus her "Unblockable" ability isn't needed when you have Stormtide anyway...

Swap indulgent tormentor for Brimaz, King of Oreskos because he makes tokens for you to polymorph into bigger guys, and he's legendary so he won't get in the way. I'd swap 1 ashen rider and 1 leviathan and both tormentors for 4 brimaz. He seems mid-rangey but he will slow down all creature based matches, and you'd want 4 cos he will eat removal (which means jalira isn't)

Why not polymorph into a Tromokratis ?
Also instead of the ingenuity try the font of fortunes. It's a solid card draw enchantment.

Update: Deck is 90% finished. I was able to pick up the Jalira, Master Polymorphist s, Caves of Koilos es, and other M15 rares last night. I'm still missing 2 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth s and 3 Temple of Enlightenment s, and an Elspeth, Sun's Champion , but I can do without one and in it's place put Worldspine Wurm for the time being just for fun. I should be able to take it out to FNM next week or the week after which I am very excited for to finally get the ball rolling on this.

Also, thanks for all the suggestions so far! They are greatly appreciated and after doing some playtesting I'll be able to see how they stand up in my local meta and what kind of changes will need to be made.

After some thought, and the more I think about it, Brimaz, King of Oreskos is a great addition, but since he's expensive he's going to have to get added slowly as I'm able to get my hands on them.
July 27, 2014 11:05 a.m.
Why do you have Worldspine wurm in an Esper deck? Also, why have Urborg? It has no use in this deck.

Instead of Ashen Rider , I would suggest Indulgent Tormentor for draw power.

UPPMeech-Worldspine Wurm is in here because the purpose of this deck is to use tokens and Jalira, Master Polymorphist to cheat overcosted creatures onto the battlefield, and Worldspine Wurm is one that, while it'll never get hardcasted as it's not supposed to be, can end games very quickly.
DaitokujiAmnael-I tried them out, but they got in the way as they aren't very interesting to polymorph into and there's better options.
August 3, 2014 10:47 p.m.
There's still a 12% chance that you'll start the game with Worldspine Wurm in your hand, and then it would be useless. You have the same problem with Ashen Rider and Stormtide Leviathan . To solve this problem i suggest adding Brainstorm or Scroll Rack . That way you can get those cards into your library from your hand.

I feel like this deck needs Supreme Verdict
I am not sure why Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver is in your sidedeck. Is it useful for you?
