Made all cards combo-pieces —Sept. 18, 2013

Every single card in the deck is now either a part of at least one infinite mana combo or it is a sac outlet (sometimes both). Most cards are part of more than 1 combo.

Without a dout, epic.

What about City of Brass to help with consistency?

City of Brass ? I don't think I like losing life every time I use a card, since that means I can't use that card infinitely.... More importantly, I like having a certain amount of basics since it leaves me less vulnerable to non-basic land hate. I'm not sure that City of Brass would help my mana consistency enough to drop one of the other dual lands for it. If I ever notice color-consistency being an issue in playtesting, I'll definitely consider City of Brass . Thanks for the suggestion!

Is it really necessary to have so many infinite combos in the deck? I get that it's your win-con, but from my experience, more combos hurts the deck more than it helps. Why not narrow it down to just a few good, reliable infinite combos and use more spots to tutor or gain card advantage?

If my primary goal was to make The Best Deck Ever like Epochalyptik's Dominus - Dreamcrusher Edition, then yeah, having more combo pieces instead of tutors/generally-good-cards would be bad. However, my primary goal with this deck is to make the most fun-for-me/combo-tastic deck that I can. As it is, the deck actually is very competitive, even though that's just my secondary goal.
