I have been meaning to try out Venser's Journal for a while now. It seems great here but its high cmc keeps me away from it but I'm finding myself needing more life near the closing ends of the games. I have to try it

I like that this deck has the potential to be non-threatening, which deters people from attacking you until you get scary. Love that you have the Nekusar, the Mindrazer draw effects in your deck. You could throw in Mikokoro, Center of the Sea which is card draw for everyone. A not so good version of that card would be Temple Bell, or Taco bell as we call it. I'd recommend throwing in at least Mikokoro. (Could replace Blighted Woodland)

I like Temple Bell cause it makes people draw when I want them to. It find its way more important to make them draw on my turn rather than their own. Mikokoro, Center of the Sea will find its way in once I decide to spend the money for one. Right now it's 12$.. as for Blighted Woodland, it's ramp on a land that doesn't come in tapped I love this card, noway will it get replaced. Thanks And don't forget to up votes

I personally would replace Primordial Sage with Soul of the Harvest. It doesn't limit you to "casting" creatures just when they enter the battlefield. Also you get a 6/6 with trample instead of a 4/5 for the same mana cost. Great looking deck!
+1 from me!

Man I should actually make sure I look at all the cards in the deck before suggesting...You already have both.

A deck like this makes me want to play commander! My deck wasn't too inspiring and because of Jeleva, Nephalia's Scourge, I was constantly a target of removal. Nice job!

It's my most consistent deck. Always does what it's supposed to do. Almost all the precons will put a target on your head except CMD 14 precons

It's my personal opinion that every mono-colored deck should have Extraplanar Lens. Double the mana from all your mountains? Sounds good to me.

Extraplanar Lens is soo good I have one but obtaining snow-covered lands can be expensive and that's if you care about opponents benefiting from it. In this case I do. There will be a day when I switch out the Caged Sun for the Extraplanar Lens. Truthfully I fell like a Boundless Realms is the best. Pulling a bunch of lands from the deck right into play. It thins the deck out good too

Pathbreaker Wurm Soulbond doesn't Target thus can be used on Multani. Another wincon in a pod game.

Also Vernal Bloom Yes your opponents benefit from it but its 2 mana cheaper and will do much more for you than them.

Nim Deathmantle could save Multani with its "you may pay 4" ability (doesn't target). It could also give evasion to a fatty via Intimidate.

I use to have it in here. But not knowing when he was gonna die and holding up 4 mana was crappy so I took it out. It pairs up with alot of the other good creatures but again holding 4 mana each turn never knowing when that board wipe is comming wasn't worth it.

I highly recommend Hall of Gemstone for any Mono-Green Deck. It cuts people off from playing anything multi-colored, unless they have artifacts in play that will give them the other colors they need.

Awesome, HE is so underrated!... I see you have Selvala, Heart of the Wilds she taps for disgusting amounts of mana with all these group hug affects pumping multani ... I wonder how many people you have commander damaged right out of the game with this guy?

I don't understand the Constant Mists+Ulamog combo, or what you meant putting them together. They both seem like good cards for the deck individually, but I don't see how they work together. Ulamog would still also be dealing combat damage, as it would only be on you opponents' turns that you would be casting Constant Mists. Please let me know what I'm missing here.
That said, I love the deck. I've never even paid attention to this Legendary beast before.

If say perhaps someone has over 100 and or life and you can't do damage to them cause of many situations such as indestructible blockers. Well then milling them out is a good option.

I have come across this situation so I had to mention it. There is nothing Timmy about it just sweet synergy

So I do see one potentially big problem with this deck. Don't wheel effects kill Multani? Because everyone discards their hands and after state-based things are checked his toughness is at zero? Or am I mistaken?
