Chibi Selvala!

Welcome to Mrs Selvala's Neighborhood, where the monsters are big and the girls are pretty. And Panglacial Wurm . No one expects the Panglacial Wurm.

Selvala, Explorer Returned is an interesting commander. She looks like a Group hug or a politics commander, but it so much more than that. The extra mana that Selvala will be generating you lets you play out things like Akroma on turn 5. Things get out of hand really quickly and if one of your opponents isn't sitting on a wrath, it's basically all over but the crying.

Some Selvala decks like to go the elf tribal route, I decided to go the big dumb monsters. General strategy is pretty easy:

  1. Ramp to the Moon
  2. Play out big dudes
  3. Turn big dudes sideways

The deck also has a bit of a token sub-theme and lords to make those tokens get swoll as well if beating down with the big dudes doesn't work.

And finally, Panglacial Wurm. Because the last thing anyone expects is Panglacial Wurm at end of turn.
