Many thanks Rofelos there is a lot to think about there.
I was hoping with Devour Flesh that I could use it as spot removal for hexproof baddies. But you make a valid point. If I've got Lazav, I should be choosing targets so that I can do strategy around him.
Lots of great suggestions there. Let me mull those over. Thank you very much!

Updates:
In: Archaeomancer Animate Dead Dreamborn Muse Doom Blade Recurring Insight Fact or Fiction Compulsion
Out: Staff of Nin Royal Assassin Devour Flesh Cephalid Looter
I like Compulsion over a looter because it's more resilient to board wipes despite the extra mana cost to it.

I think I'll keep Soul Ransom . It's nothing but win for me. I get their creature for 4 mana. If they decide to discard cards to make me kill it, I can always copy it (or another creature they could discard) with Lazav and net myself 2 cards in the process.

I'd like to replace Frost Titan I feel like he's an un-thematic choice here.

maybe play a Geth, Lord of the Vault in here. he's one of my favorite cards for milling in EDH. plus his ability can be played at instant speed as well. although it's really effective, Keening Stone is horrible both to play with, or against. that's just my $.02 though. if you are just going for the win, Duskmantle Guildmage + Mindcrank and any mill spell is bad news for someone. if you use a Mind Grind for one it's game over for everyone else as well. i don't actually encourage the use of that combo if you want to consistently play with the same people haha. just throwing 'em out there. looks like fun though, always a fan of milling. +1 from me.

Deck set to prototype. I removed lots of cards I didn't think would work well. The card count will not be 100. I'm looking to correct that.

Tormod's Crypt is another way to erase someone's graveyard.
August 5, 2013 4:41 p.m.
Cairn Wanderer , maybe? I think you need more mana ramp because your curve is pretty high and it's gonna take a while for your deck to start up.
August 5, 2013 4:46 p.m.
- Suggestions:
- Necromancy
- Relic of Progenitus
- Tormod's Crypt
- Withered Wretch
- Nihil Spellbomb
- Suffer the Past
- Leyline of the Void
- Planar Void
- Nezumi Graverobber
- Curse of the Swine
You can use cards such as Withered Wretch to exile cards in response. What I mean by that is: In response to someone targeting a creature for reanimation you exile it; therefore, their spell will fizzle.
November 6, 2013 12:58 p.m.
I'm mostly concerned with graveyard shenanigans in the form of casting a creature out of the graveyard. In which case the Wretch can only be used pre-emptively not responsively. I pack many of the others already.
I'm actually happy with the current amount of graveyard hate I have. I just didn't want to see suggestions to cut what I currently run.
November 6, 2013 1:31 p.m.
Your only other option would be counterspells then. I only saw Nihil Spellbomb and Leyline of the Void btw; I'm building a Lazav deck, I think you would benefit from adding Sol Ring , Relic of Progenitus , Sensei's Divining Top , and Trinket Mage in addition to the two that you already run.
P.S. why no Sands of Delirium , Mindcrank , or Keening Stone ?
November 6, 2013 2:30 p.m.
Keening Stone feels expensive for what it does and could be a huge target. Besides as often as I destroy graveyards it would not mesh well.
Sands is not bad, but I'm not sure how much bang for the buck it packs, but it is worth a try. Mindcrank is also a good suggestion. I think I could play that off diplomatically.
I don't use a Sol Ring in this deck because it is very color intensive. The colorless it provides is not as useful as I'd like.
November 6, 2013 3:31 p.m.
You should try them before you knock them. Sol Ring is a must; it gives you major ramp early game... even if you are color intensive. Keening Stone is a viable win condition late game.
November 6, 2013 6 p.m.
I know how good sol ring is. I have other EDH decks in active editing right now that are packing one.
I just don't feel like this deck needs it like other decks do. The curve is relatively low for an EDH deck and there's a high demand for colored mana. I rarely feel like I'm short on mana. I more often feel like I'm short on spot removal, control and card draw. So, I've drop the sol ring spot for one more of those.

I"m looking for more ways to take advantage of opponents' graveyards/hands/decks for my own abuses!

Hey there! Any friend of Oona is a friend of mine. In my deck I focus and emphasize heavily on the exact goals your deck is trying to meet. Have a look!

Hey there! Thanks for the comments on my Oona deck! it's always great to see from another perspective. So without further ado, here's what I see:
I see Hinder and Spell Crumple but no Tunnel Vision ? Try Junktroller here too. if you can line it up proper, you can set up a couple people and just go nuts twincasting Tunnel Vision.
Bloodchief Ascension combos nicely with Mindcrank .
I already see a ton of ambient potential in your creature base. Wrexial, the Risen Deep is just far too slow and clunky to be worthwhile. I would classify glass cannons such as Lord of the Void and that Szadek, Lord of Secrets in your maybeboard as complete no-no's. There's no feeling worse than tapping out for one of these guys to not untap with them. Instead, you might consider Deadeye Navigator and Rune-Scarred Demon . Chancellor of the Spires and Diluvian Primordial just seamlessly slip into place with the inclusion of Navigator.
Leyline of the Void makes you an auto target. it isn't worthwhile unless you're playing Helm of Obedience as well. Consider Rise of the Dark Realms instead. Bojuka Bog and Relic of Progenitus or Nihil Spellbomb are also fine replacements that don't draw NEARLY as much aggro. In fact, any of those three draw infinitely less attention than leyline.
Demonic Tutor Diabolic Revelation Increasing Ambition Lim-Dul's Vault Ring of Three Wishes . Card advantage is at your fingertips. Exploit it!
All in all, I've found that no one recipe is the exact truth and epitome of how commander mill should be run. Each person has their own tastes and style and strategies vary differently based on metagame, available cardppol and many other details. If you've found any of these suggestions useful, awesome! If not, then at least you can see where I come from :P thanks again for stopping by and having a look at Oona! She revels in all the attention.

Hey hows it going. I definitely like where you're going and like that you use looters in here. I hope you don't mind if I have a couple suggestions. One card that is great for transforming your general in multiplayer is Dreamborn Muse . You say you want instant speed stuff, there is instant speed reanimate in Necromancy , Animate Dead could also be worthwhile. Devour Flesh could be Doom Blade or Go for the Throat . Since you're in blue there are a number of better draw cards than Staff of Nin , such as Recurring Insight (my favorite) Tidings Concentrate and Fact or Fiction which could activate Lazav. Soul Ransom could just be Mind Control and there is also Blatant Thievery . You might want to throw in Diabolic Tutor to get your Keening Stone . Recursion in the form of Archaeomancer might not be bad. Whew, hope that helped, peace!
