I would replace either Chromatic Star or Chromatic Sphere with Conjurer's Bauble as you don't need colored mana anyway, it's a cheaper way to draw cards, and it will put powerhouse creatures back into your deck if they die. It's pretty cheap too. maybe use Myr Retriever instead of the Frogmite ? I'm not so sure about this second suggestion, as I haven't done extensive play testing with this deck.

So in terms of conjurer's bauble, I prefer the chromatic things because I can chain multiple copies together. The bauble is probably a better replacement for Relic of Progenitus . As for myr retriever, Frogmite is just better because it's typically free. I mean, the value from the myr is fine, but being able to just throw down a frog whenever I want just seems a bit better.

Thanks for the suggestions though! I'd definitely be open to more if you've got em.

My only other suggestion would be to add in 2xAcademy Ruins and remove 2xRelic of Progenitus

maybe splash red for Atog so you can suicide stomp?

Suggestion, add one more Chromatic Star and remove a Chromatic Sphere , Chromatic Star triggers when it hits the graveyard where as sphere is when the ability activates.

While I do agree with you that that is the better course of action, the numbers included are the numbers that I have at the moment.

If and when I get another star, you can bet that i'll be switching it out.

Since you run Springleaf Drum , might I also suggest swapping out Relic of Progenitus for Nihil Spellbomb ? The card draw will be less consistent but it leaves your graveyard untouched in case you have an artifact you wish to salvage from it at a later point. This change would be most valuable if Academy Ruins were also added... though I'm not sure if that change would truly be beneficial for a deck like this. It's more for you to decide. I'm overly fond of recycling artifacts anyway.

I'd be all for Tempered Steel if it weren't for the fact that it doesn't hit every creature. I mean, it can definitely be a sideboard thing, but I think that the blade is just a better option MB as it goes toward the metalcraft count and provides a cheap, efficient alternative to cranial plating should something happen to them.

I would definitely remove Ghostfire Blade in favor of Bonesplitter . A lot of your creatures are colored (white) so it'll end up costing you more. The toughness increase is kind of pointless since you mostly want to be attacking anyway and have a lot of evasion. If you want to slap it on Porcelain Legionnaire to hold the ground down, first strike makes the bonus toughness pointless anyway. Lastly, the +2 toughness hardly gets most of your creatures out of bolt-range.

Since this deck is so mana cheap, do you really need Springleaf Drum ? Your average mana cost is below 2 so maybe sub it for something that gives draw power since you'll be throwing down cards quickly.

I mean, I really enjoy turn one Frogmite that the drum gives (Darksteel Citadel , Ornithopter , Springleaf Drum , Signal Pest , Frogmite ). It isn't very good outside of turn one, but when it's good, it's game breaking.

Well you have to tap Springleaf Drum so you'll only be able to get 1 mana out of it at a time so I'm not too sure how Frogmite can be played on turn 1

After test playing it a few times I can say this is a really efficient aggro deck. Upvote for you my friend.

On a side note, do you have any opinions on building another color into this deck? I feel like blue would be fun to use in some way.

Very nice! Glad you like it.

Do you mean in addition to white, adding another color? I agree that blue is probably the best option here for another color, solely because of Trinket Mage and Fabricate . Other than that, red is also an option for Galvanic Blast , Shrapnel Blast , and Blood Moon .

OP_Magikarp

I gave you the cards required in the previous post:

Play Darksteel Citadel , tap it to play Springleaf Drum , Play a 0 drop creature, tap both the creature and drum for another 1 mana artifact of any kind, play Frogmite for 0 because of affinity. This actually happens quite a bit - more often than I would have imagined at least. The drum also just helps me crack out any one drop turn one much more efficiently. Dropping a Ardent Recruit with it out just makes me feel so much more secure about having that turn 2 3/3.

Maybe have room for Ichorclaw Myr ?

Servo_Token says... #20

Ichorclaw Myr may be a suitable replacement for Darksteel Ingot and maybe one plains. I'll try that out.

October 19, 2014 9:04 p.m.

Should add a Myr Enforcer

MyPreciousGollum

I've tried Myr Enforcer , but he was super slow and without any sort of evasion (ie, trample), he's pretty meh. I'd much rather just aggro rush.

Oh okay. Thanks though!

Just tested the deck against my friend that plays Melira Pod tonight, and I would say that the matchup is roughly 60/40 my favor. They need to draw just the right hand to stand against the initial rush, and they don't have as many sideboard options as they would for colorless affinity. Still a rough matchup, and sometimes they will make you slog it out just to steal the win out from under you, but Pod is definitely beatable with this deck.

Ok, a couple questions:

1 - Blue looks kindda good in there, do you consider a couple ensoul artifact and/or thoughtcast, both look good in this shell...

Of course this could dilute the number of artifacts in the deck,.. dunno

2 - Another question I consider is about batallion... do you consider the possibility of boros elite in there ? Doesn't look like this deck has trouble to find 2 more attackers and... well 1 mana is a lot faster than 2 mana I suppose.

3 - I love white because it has some little piece of hate against everything, this deck does look fragile against mass cheap removal, like pyroclasm... do you think it is possible some sort of backup plan against that ?
