Giving Brago double strike is so clever, and the Worldslayer -combo (and Taj-Nar Swordsmith for tutoring) is nice. +1.

Have you though of putting in more flicker-effects in case your commander is disabled/tucked? Deadeye Navigator , Mistmeadow Witch , Ghostway , Momentary Blink and Ghostly Flicker is all good.

I hate to burst your bubble but Brago, King Eternal + Worldslayer doesn't keep all your your things safe. Brago's ability exiles and then returns those permanents instantly, like Cloudshift . If you equip Brago with worldslayer, all of the things you exile with brago will return to the battlefield and then be destroyed by the worldslayer trigger.

You could re arrange them on the stack the other way around but that would destroy everything first and cause Brago's ability to fizzle.

I too am building a Brago flicker deck but its super budget.

Duly noted, deck is being tweaked.

Perhaps Gideon Jura , with flicker he can be a damage sponge or an assassinate.

He also works very well with Sunblast Angel

Brago, King Eternal + Strionic Resonator + Gilded Lotus , not infinite mana, just 9 extra mana total since you are tapping it for 3 mana three times thanks to the double flicker that is about to happen. On a word of warning though, this is EDH, this format is made so that multiple people to have fun at the same time, if you make this deck to good, nobody would want to play against it since it will never be fun. So please keep in mind on the balance of keeping this deck good but is also fun to play against. Seen lots of people make that mistake where I go play magic.

coocoohead70 , Allow me to walk you through the infinite mana combo for this deck. When Brago, King Eternal hits, his ability triggers. Before it resolves, tap Gilded Lotus or Mana Vault or any other mana rock for 3, use 2 of that and tap Strionic Resonator to copy Brago's trigger. If the targets of the original trigger were not already Gilded Lotus / Mana Vault etc. and Resonator, change the targets of the copy to include these two. Let the copied ability resolve, which will return Vault and Resonator to the battlefield untapped. Rinse and repeat until the desired amount of mana is achieved. This is possible, I have done it MANY times before. I have even done it in the presence of judges and they saw nothing wrong with this. It is a very complicated combo to set up but it does work. In response to the second part of your comment, I come from a city that hosts some very large EDH events and runs regularly scheduled competitive tournaments. The group that I play with and many others in the region all prefer a harder style of game play. Which is why I have built this deck to be the way it is. Thanks for your comments and I hope the above helps to explain how the combo works.

How is the mana in the deck? I have a flicker deck with Triad that can never get enough so I definitely recommend cards like Pilgrim's Eye and Kor Cartographer just to insure you don't get mana screwed.

I am new to magic after only starting during the Nyx sets release, and i want to know if anyone can tell me about the heroic & the constellation abilities in the set, are they good in EDH and are there any more powerful things from older sets that can be used to abuse these abilities?

Also is heroic a new ability or has it been re-introduced?

@KieranBevan, I too only started playing during Nyx, I am glad to hear that you are enjoying the game. As far as heroic and constellation they are new abilities that were introduced in Theros and Nyx and their strengths currently shine in standard. However, if you are a fan of constellation and or heroic it would not be hard to make an EDH deck around that. Cards like Doomwake Giant, Nighthowler and Strength from the Fallen etc are all great constellation cards. If you need any suggestions feel free to message me. Good luck with your deck building!

Have you perhaps considered Ghostway? Unlike cloudshift and the likes, it returns the bounced creatures at the end of the turn.

@Tolluf. When I was building this deck I had considered Ghostway. After much playtesting it was eventually cut and replaced with AEthermage's Touch. I made this decision based simply on the decks that I was normally facing. However, if you find in your meta Ghostway is more useful then I would say make a judgement call. Overall, I have found this deck to be very strong and each time I play it I discover new interactions between my cards. Thanks for the comment!

@PremiumCola I have always been wanting to get my hands on a Treachery for this deck but those other two suggested cards I have not considered. They seem to be VERY good in this build I will try it out. Thanks!

There are some pretty nasty enchantments out there besides Act of Authority and Reality Acid, depending on the situation.Parallax Tide for stax , remove 2-4 vanishing counters each turn then bounce it up to 5 the next turn, quite nasty. Some other that can help you with connecting with Brago are enchantments like Unquestioned Authority or Traveler's Cloak, or Pentarch Ward that gives protection from chosen colour, all these can also be bounced for card draw.

@Tolluf: While I particularly enjoy stax effects the people I play with do not. If I do ever play with people who can tollerate stax effects I will consider your suggestion. Thanks for the comment.
