Does it work? Seems like overcomplicated and very wonky/easy to interrupt. Nice idea anyways

Hello Pikobyte!

Sounds complicated ...? I think it looks complicated because of having several interactions, but I think it's even simple to use when you get to know most of them (playing I'm still discovering new things with it!). It's a powerful deck, very unpredictable, which makes it quite difficult to stop and best of all, what made you win "today" is not the same as "tomorrow". There are a lot of combos but they are not necessarily the basis for winning because you have several good cards, multiple ways to win and it is not "one single shot" to win or lose.   You can switch cards with the "maybe" section to create other interactions!   I already played with him and I already lost, but I already won the 3 round against a Markov and a dinossaurs and a "mono-blue". I had a Defense of the Heart to sacrifice and guess what I came for ... It was just to choose!

I hope you can give him and me a chance to improve him!

I do understand how a deck with a lot of combos work. If it’s fun for you to crack a Defense of the Heart for mike and trike and say „oops I win“, then go for it.

I was just wondering if this deck works this way for you. In my meta it would definitely not. You don’t have any good protection for your commander, does your playgroup not play removals or stealing effects? Not protection from grave removal, very little enchantment and artifact removal. That’s why I was asking.

I understand your doubts, and what could you advise me to "protect" the deck?

In relation to the commander, Muldrotha, the Gravetide is the "support" to complete several strategies but its true objective is to ramp to the deck with its ability to dominate the cemetery. To give you protection I have the Bear Umbra (only protection ...? What a delight this card with the muldrota!), I also have the Command Beacon that is indispensable for Muldrota! In my area there is a lot of control deck with many enchantments and a lot of removal, including Leyline of the Void that is a mess ... and many Bojuka Bog ... But this is part of magic, we will always catch counters our strategy and by this is that this deck does not focus only on the ability of the muldrota ...

You already have Reclamation Sage and Seal of Primordium, but you can for example change the combo of infinite turns (which is what I could not yet accomplish ...) Thopter Assembly and Time Sieve to include Acidic Slime and / or Caustic Caterpillar ...

Attention ... this deck is also a serious case for this type of opponents ... You always have the ability to be blocking their strategy with Contamination, or Decree of Silence, or Glen Elendra Archmage, or Glacial Chasm ...

Bear Umbra and Command Beacon are really great cards. In addition Diplomatic Immunity is a card that really puts some shields on Muldrotha and make it hard to deal with her. Curator's Ward can protect your commander, other important permanents and even draws you cards in case of a boardwipe. Finally a Siren Stormtamer helps you against Bojuka Bog, Tormod's Crypt and other similar effects. Maybe it is a good idea to sacrifice 1 single combo to make the deck more consistent and harder to deal with. All those cards have proven to be extremely helpful in my deck.

OK! Great ideas!

I have already altered the infinite combo of extra turns and put Curator's Ward and Siren Stormtamer. I also added Acidic Slime to have more removal ...

Thanks a lot!

You’re welcome. I play Muldrotha for some months now already and usually she draws a lot of attention/hate. Protecting her from removals is key. Sure does command beacon help to recast her, but it’s still better if Spot removals can’t remove her. Saves you a lot of mana for important plays. Had her a glass cannon type of deck before but she performs much better in tank mode :-)

Hello dragonforce60 and thanks for the ideas. I've already seen that the deck needs a landslide and I'm thinking about adding a Life from the Loam . I will analyze your ideas along with the ones I have. Thank you!

Hello Pikobyte

I fooled myself into deckcycle ... and I did not want to post. This deck is a prototype where I keep combos and interactions. At this moment I am very satisfied with the Muldrotha land power and like you say, I am already to buy an Intuition ...

Thanks for listening!

Intuition is a powerhouse, with the right cards in your deck its an instant-win if no one interrupts you. Searching for a sac outlet, kayas ghostform and LED/lotus petal leads to an instant win with Jace, wielder of mysteries. Even without such combos, the card is totally OP.

Pikobyte

okey ... explain me this ... the sac has to be to draw is this? do I repeatedly combo gaya + muldrotha and I will infinitely fetch the petal to graveyard to give mana ...?

Maybe I was a bit unclear about that. For sure it doesn’t work with any sac outlet, I meant with any in my Muldrotha list. Those 3 repeatable free outlets are Greater good, razaketh and currently Altar of dementia for testing.

Enchant Muldrotha with ghostform, Feed her to the sac outlet, she returns, you recast lotus petal (or LED in my case) use that mana to recast ghostform and sac Muldrotha again. This way you mill/tutor/draw your entire library and play the Jace, wielder of mysteries which is in your deck somewhere, use his + ability to draw and win with no cards in library.

No problem Pikobyte! I got it the mechanics of the combo, I was just in doubt if the sac had to be obligatory to draw ... Such a evil combo !!! I was already looking for one that simply gave me victory without damage, without pings, just simply "you win".

Thank you one more time!

This one would be helpful, but beware! There’s a risk for you if you’re running that combo with lotus petal if you don’t have enough mana. If Jace gets countered or removed in response to the draw you might be screwed. With LED you net 2 mana in colors of your choice every loop and can play siren stormtamer and glen elendra archmage to protect your win before going for the winning draw. That greatly reduces the risk but LED isn’t something everyone has in his deck.

My friend Pikobyte and Muldrotha master!

I have a history to tell you:

The Muldrotha Land Power is really my favorite but when I play in a more competitive format it is difficult to stay live or stop combo`s ... Then they told me that if I want to play more competitive the Muldrotha does not fit! "How dare you !?" (Go tell that to the Pikobyte!) I got hands on work... I test and test many cards and interactions and I got to this deck. I don't even need to tell you the purpose of cards and interactions because you are the one who looks at and knows the purpose of each card.

Strategy: Fast ramp; Stop opponents' acceleration/strategy; combo / win.

It is built with the cards I have (of course, with a Lion's Eye Diamond; Mox Diamond or even Gaea's Cradle would be more powerful) but whenever possible I will make updates.

The deck is not sow beautiful, it is not so fun, but look at the competitive side and if you can give your opinion.

I already have two victories and a defeat against Gitrog / Proforus / Yuriko or Antraxa ...
