@luther that's very true! She's definitely one of my strong considerations right now.
@tyger0011 I love Sire of Stagnation and Consuming Aberration; they're in my Wrexial, the Risen Deep deck. They could definitely find a home here, but I would most likely have to take out cards like Wurmcoil Engine, and I was trying to fit in cards here I haven't used before. Great suggestion though and I'll keep it in mind! Thanks!
@Radeint Thanks Jon! I'm thinking about getting the cards very soon so perhaps you'll be seeing the commander proxied in a week or so!

So I have a suggestion and I was hoping for a little help on my own decklist, I'm having issues getting down to 100 cards. Anyways, my suggestion is Crystal Vein, this can provide up to a 4 mana burst in 1 turn.
And my decklist, Muldrotha's Madhouse

Crystal Vein is a great idea, thanks! Already put it in!
Definitely going to check out your decklist to help you get down to 100 cards- it's been very interesting seeing all the ways people have been building around Muldrotha.

You should run Lion's Eye Diamond to dump a hand full of non instants/sorceries, to the grave for recursion. I heard about this from a combo player who said that with this you could turn 2 muldrotha and turn 3 Emrakul, the Promised End given the right hand.

One more toy I found recently: Vessel of Nascency. Low cost, self-sacrificed, and tutors literally for everything Muldrotha allows you to re-use.

What do you think of an all sacrificing permanent like Claws of Gix? I think it would fit. I also thought about Hatching Plans or Compulsion for a while.

@Crivaro- I love that idea. I could fit some of that in here, but I feel to make it work efficiently you'd have to dedicate a whole Muldrotha list to that kind of strategy. Tempted to completely rebuild with that in mind- great idea, thanks!

Additionally there exists the card Zuran Orb also, and this was one I have been considering in my version of Muldrotha, as the synergy seems quite good with it and The Gitrog Monster, Titania, Protector of Argoth, Centaur Vinecrasher and Dark Depths.

If you're playing other competitive cards then I think Survival of the Fittest is an auto-include

Also worth mentioning that Survival of the Fittest is available in gold border for a LOT less than $70 (assuming your playgroup is ok with it).

This looks really well made and potent, I goldfished it a couple times and ran really smoothly. The only thing that popped into my head that you dont run is Prized Amalgam as it can get free reanimation every turn if needed. Good stuff, +1

@Jimmy_Chinchila - That card is absolutely glorious! I've added it to the maybeboard and will do what I can to work it in as I continue to playtest the deck at my LGS for the next few weeks. Thank you so much for the kind words, the upvote, and the suggestion!

Nice list with plenty of ideas for my planned muldrotha deck.Did you test any additional land drop stuff like Exploration? Like play one land from graveyard and one from hand or add Crucible of Worlds for access to more land drops from graveyard? Also could reuse Wasteland even more than once.
May 10, 2018 5:26 p.m.
@magiclinks.de Thanks for the suggestions! I have definitely thought about cards like Exploration and will possibly plan on working some of that stuff in- but I'm low on money right now and would possibly have to go for a budget version like Wayward Swordtooth. As for Crucible of Worlds, I've seen people attempting to run that and Ramunap Excavator in their Muldrotha decks but I think these cards are just redundant because they will have the same effect as Muldrotha, as she already allows you to play lands from your graveyard. Crucible and the Excavator will end up being dead draws- but using Exploration or the Dino to play multiple lands per turn could have wonderful benefits so I'll definitely be experimenting, thanks!

Additionally:Wood Elves are one of my favorite ramp spells as they search for untapped nonbasic forest. They seem a perfect addition to the deck. Solemn Simulacrum is also almost an auto-include in many of my decks. At 4 cmc not cheap but potentially adds card draw with a sac outlet.Last but not least Skyshroud Claim is a veeery nice ramp spell, also not cheap cmc. Not a permanent so maybe not perfect for Muldrotha but worth thinking about it.

Excavator and Crucible only make sense imo when you can play more than one land each turn so they would allow you more drops than Muldrotha.Still struggling with these. They could be great if played before Muldrotha and if you miss to draw enough lands - then they can bring back fetches and prevent screw. Really not sure if that theme justifies the slots though...

Craven183 why not use Mulldrifter instead of Chemister's Insight? Unless I'm missing something, it is better in literally every way, as it is cheaper and constantly recurrable with Muldrotha.
October 12, 2018 8:28 p.m.
@OddChild - Hey man! Thanks for checking out the list and giving some feedback. I agree with Mulldrifters superiority over Chemister's Insight- I actually switched the elemental fish out for Insight simply because I wanted to try some of the new Guilds cards from prerelease! Mulldrifter has been in my list since inception and will certainly find a home back in it after I get a couple fun "jump start" usages.

@Craven183, makes total sense, just thought I'd ask. Just wanna say thanks though, your list gave me the inspiration for the direction I want to take my deck. Here's to hoping it works out! ^_^

@OddChild - That's great to hear! So glad I could be of help in that regards. Good luck to you!
