Well, I think the card is sweet and I play a deck from time to time with him in it, but my issue is that he requires a ton of mana acceleration in order to play him in a reasonable time frame. He is certainly powerful, but 7 mana spells don't fit into the curve of this deck at all with only Caryatids as ramp, or without heavy control elements to make sure you get to that stage of the game, like a BUG control deck or something along those lines.

Deck looks great! I would add 2 more Golgari Charms in the side, though. Also, maybe another forest or two for Nissa. +1

Thanks! What would you take out for the Golgari Charms?

Maybe Polukranos? I don't really know, but Golgari Charm is good against Control, Aggro, and other decks, too.

Ehhh... Polukranos is one of my best SB cards. Golgari Charm just doesn't do what I need Polukranos' slot in the SB to do. I need something that eats small creatures, which Golgari Charm sometimes do, but also something that is a lot of pressure. I bring Polukranos in against wonky decks, where he can just clock them out of the game so that they don't have time to set up. I also bring him in against aggro, but he's good against creatures that don't have 1 toughness/are not enchantments as well. As far as the control matchup goes, I usually don't have more than 1 or 2 creatures on the board at once in the postboard matchups, and nowadays they may or may not even be playing D-sphere (which Abrupt Decay can kill anyway). In general, boarding in reactive cards against control is a bad idea in my opinion, it lets the game drag on without you pressuring them. Golgari Charm is fantastic, but I feel like 1 is usually going to be the right number for me =) thanks for the suggestion though! Opinions are always welcome and will be considered fairly

I agree on 1x Golgari Charm being the right number. It's always useful, but doesn't offer anything u can't get elsewhere.
Deck looks awesome. I've been thinking about adding 1x Nissa, Worldwaker to my deck, how has your experience with her been so far?

@APPLE01DOJ Thanks! I really like Nissa in this deck. Just as a card it is really good against other black based 1-for-1 removal style decks, because it comes down and makes something they have to kill, as well as a 4/4 that dodges Ultimate Price and Abrupt Decay, and a lot of time has pseudo-haste. Specifically in this deck unless I have a Mistcutter Hydra out of the SB I don't really need more than 5 mana per turn, 5 lets me cast 2 removal spells per turn or any card in my deck, so it lets me turn all the useless lands into 4/4 tramplers that, once again, dodge Ultimate Price and Abrupt Decay. Also if someone starts killing your newly made manlands, you usually use your forests/overgrown tombs last, so she helps you make up for getting Verdicted or something by untapping them so you can still cast your spells.

Yea I love how it says Forest not basic land, so u can untap your Tombs. lol at the same time. I'm thinking way may see more Encroaching Wastes in the future. I'm thinking I'll have to pick one of her up. She reminds me so much of Treetop Village which is awesome.

Eh... I'm not so sure you'll need to worry about people playing Encroaching Wastes unless the black deck players decide just can't beat the newish green devotion without it. And yes, big manlands with trample are good in every format =)
