I agree, I've been playing with it in place of Soulfire Grand Master and it compliments nicely with Lightning Angel. I do like the lifegain from Soulfire that tends to swing the game way in my favor if it's a longer running game so I decided to keep her. I've sideboarded Mantis Rider because he could come in handy regardless of failing the bolt test. Only other best bet is Geist of Saint Traft but he can die with a good block. I haven't found any immediate disadvantages other than bolt for Soulfire, so I'm looking into seeing if she's a keepe and so far I do. She's a great nuisance until I get hold of a Lightning Angel if Swiftspears and Delvers have died.

Yeah Young Pyromancer would definitely net you some value off of probes, visions, and any other spells further down the game.
Looks pretty solid :)

Thank you BoCaliv! I'm looking into Young Pyromancer but I'm going to try playtesting with Stormchaser Mage and bring in more prowess. I may end up settling with the pyromancers once I get a few.

I totally understand. When I saw him leaked I was stumped on whether or not to add him in my thopter deck. Him + Taylor Swift spear are a duo made in heaven!

Emerge Unscathed is good for prowess, only one mana and a free noncreature spell the next turn after it is cast. Does me rather well in my jeskai deck. hope this is something you found helpful

I feel like Mantis Rider is just better then the angel. Coming down on turn three is good. Are you scared of lightning bolts? Also, you want 1 offs of both Dispel and Spell Snare

Hunson_Abadeer, thank you, that's a great suggestion.
Ninjadude51, it is the fact that mantis rider doesn't live as long the angel does due to bolts. I sideboarded him once I got the Stormchaser Mage. I also felt I've been able to do more on turn 3 with flipping the delver and buffing swiftspear that it seemed okay to go with a more reliable 4-drop. I do have issues removing him though because I do like the rider, it's just scary to have to fully tap out turn 3 and have him die so quickly.

Yeah I see it, but what about the dispels and snares?

I have plenty of Dispel and I'm gonna trade for a Spell Snare soon. Sideboard or main? I can side for now. Not sure what for main, perhaps some Boros Charm but they come in handy.

By personal choice there is one card I'd recommend for your build, being Break Through the Line, but the only place I see open for it would be for Lightning Angel on the mainboard or for Mantis Rider on the sideboard.
The other problem I see in using it is the equally useful spells like Artful Dodge, Emerge Unscathed, Distortion Strike, and even the newer Slip Through Space. For these spells I'm not sure where you could cut unless you wanted to ditch the burn effects combo-ing with Soulfire Grand Master. Keeping only a few as removal and otherwise using the unblockable effects to help get your power in.
Let me know if this helped you out any! (and as one last note, yes you could use Break Through the Line and then start triggering prowess while remaining unblockable)

Thanks TheRedGoat that was helpful. Distortion Strike is definitely going to make it in and I need to figure out what to do to get in Emerge Unscathed. I'm not sure I can work with Break Through the Line but I'm considering it.

I've considered him, unfortunately I think he can suffer death fairly quickly before bumping up to 4 loyalty. I went with Ral Zarek and Chandra, Pyromaster for their first 2 abilities and the bonus when I get to pop. Mainly Ral since I can untap a mana and tap one of their permanents opening up an attack, cast a creature, burn spell, or all of the above. He is still a consideration though because he's a fantastic card. Thanks Endy!
I think predominantly I may need to run a minimum of 2x Snapcaster Mage so I'm wondering what to substitute and eventually trade enough away to acquire the pair.

I like how it worked with the proxies of snapcaster. I did get my hands on Thing in the Ice Flip so I'm going to put those in and test it before spending money on the costly cards. I have everything else so hoping to make this work. I like this new bad boy.

I am not a fan of counterspells in decks that need to play cards during their turns, so, I would take off the Mana Leak and maybe one Remand. I would also take off Ral Zarek because I think that four mana is too many. If you want to have more prowess, Blistercoil Weird is not bad. Also, Mutagenic Growth, Forked Bolt and Young Pyromancer are all good cards.

Thanks [marcobou]! I really like Forked Bolt and although I've enjoyed playing Ral Zarek he may be a bit over the cusp of a perfect mana curve for the deck. I like counter spells but competitively it may work better to sideboard Mana Leak and add back the other Electrolyze and Boros Charm and/or adding 2-3 Forked Bolt. I think I'm good with prowess creatures but they are great additions. I've been toying with the idea of Mutagenic Growth since I started this deck, I feel it works best to save my creatures especially if I were to bring back Seeker of the Way but would mainly sideboard it. I'll be adjusting soon.

To update, I really didn't like the Forked Bolt while playtesting. Mutagenic Growth is still on the table but not that important at the moment. I'm keeping it as is, and the counters help keep the tempo going and allowing openings for the big swing and burn to finish.

I was thinking and I'm pretty sure Ajani, Caller of the Pride is a pretty good replacement for Ral Zerek in this deck. He doesn't offer the same removal that Ral does, but he offers pumps to your creatures every turn and can also allow big plays, sometimes finishers, with his "-3" ability that gives evasion as well as double damage. Not to mention he's a mana less to cast. But, I dunno. I would have to playtest that to give a full evalution and I have not. But maybe on an aggro plan, turn 4 casting a few spells then giving your prowessed Monastery Swiftspear (with a +1/+1 counter on it from the turn before) double strike and flying IS what you want to be doing.
