Totally get that - I'll have to pick up Scavenger Grounds myself!

DawnsRayofLight - I was thinking about your suggestions a lot over the past couple of days. They made me bring up the topic with one of my good friends in my play group, "Do you ever feel like you have to undo the 'contemporary EDH' mindset of omitting 6+ CMC bomb-y permanents because they'll be removal bait?" We talked about it for a while, and he made the important point that although we aim for optimization where we can, a lot of our most memorable moments came from people slamming down something splashy.
TL;DR - Thought a lot about your feedback and talked to a friend about it. Made another round of edits and swapped out some situational value and passive defensive effects in my 4 cmc slots for Etali, Primal Storm, Elder Brain, Fervent Charge, and a couple instants.

I personally went the forced combat/pillowfort route and I must say I was quite pleased. No one in my playgroups expected it. Most games ended in conceding due to annoyance lol

Nice DaigarStrasis lol.
One of my friends in my playgroup runs decks for both Kardur, Doomscourge and Marisi, Breaker of the Coil. I've definitely experienced firsthand how effective Goad strats can be. Once they get going it's hard to attack them if they can keep their Goad engines going.

Yeah I added in some of the cards from the silverquill precon. Basically goad will a little group hug giving everyone's creatures counters and then Nils, Discipline Enforcer helps add to the protection on my side.

This deck is a masterpiece. From thematic commitment, to the passionate Updates and continuous discussion about not only one playstyle, but several; a solid bow to you good sir.

Thank you Andramalech, I truly appreciate it. My Isshin deck was previously my Alesha, Who Smiles at Death deck, before I recycled her to make this deck. Alesha was similarly loved and updated, and probably my 2nd longest running EDH deck at that point.
Isshin is for sure my favorite commander from this year, with Anhelo, the Painter in second place. As a kid, my dad showed me some of Akira Kurosawa's films like Seven Samurai and The Hidden Fortress. Throughout most of my childhood, my dad had this copy of Miyamoto Musashi's Book of Five Rings on one of his shelves in his home office. I saw it so often it became a background piece. He passed away a few years ago, and I find myself reconnecting with him in the strangest ways. As soon as I realized that Isshin was a nod to Musashi, I knew I had to go hard on this deck.

Crow-Umbra I realized something just today. Have you considered Marton Stromgald?

Thank you for the suggestion Andramalech.
I had Marton Stromgald in an earlier version of the deck, but replaced it with Purphoros, God of the Forge. I like the ETB damage more, & Purphoros is sturdy with Indestructible.
I have a bunch of stuff with some rambles in the "Considerations & Swap Outs" section of my primer. It's kind of a mess in there, so I understand if it's easy to miss. I need to clean my primer up a bit more.

Bruh, have you seen the new Mishra? his meld is even more devastating. (Mishra, claimed by Gix) would be really fun to run, I may just try to add the Phyrexian Dragon Engine as well to get that meld off.

I'm super stoked for the new Mishra DawnsRayofLight. I submitted entries for New Mishra, Phyrexian Dragon Engine, & Meld Mishra earlier this morning. Hopefully they'll be approved sometime in the next week.
I for sure want to replace Brutal Hordechief with Mishra, Claimed by Gix. I'm not sure if I'll try to get the Dragon in here as well.

Dang, just missed the Mishra nod ;) (when i saw it i thought of this deck). Maybe Goblin War Drums out for Phyrexian Dragon Engine since the meld provides Trample/Menace? You'd still have Iroas as well.
If you're ever up against other heavy aggro, maybe consider Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs for 2x better Prison effect.

Lol yes, I'm pretty stoked for the new Mishra, 8netherwind8. I submitted card entries for new Mishra, Phryexian Dragon, & Meld Mishra yesterday. I got notifications that I got feature queue tokens for the entries, so I'm hoping that means they'll be approved for use soon.
At the very least, I want new Mishra for the group slug aspect. Being able to Meld it is a cool goal to pull off though.
I recently made a few swaps: Squee, Dubious Monarch replaced Goblin War Drums, & Inquisitorial Rosette replaced Fireflux Squad. I like that the Rosette is a token maker & Menace anthem.
I recently saw a leak of a card portion from Brother's War for what essentially could be a Grand Abolisher that also makes tokens. I'm excited.

Holy shit Crow-Umbra yeah, that new Mishra is a fucking bomb. Looks like R&D brought meld back with a resounding haymaker.
The card portion for something resembling Grand Abolisher has me super geeked because it does appear to be an attack trigger.
With the Phyrexians looming, I'm curious to see just how much/many of our decks become Compleated.

I forgot to mention in my last comment, but I like the Kazuul recommendation 8netherwind8. I might have a copy in my binders. One of my friends has decks for Chatterfang, Squirrel General and Jetmir, Nexus of Revels, and another friend has Xyris, the Writhing Storm; these 3 are probably the other biggest tokens boards I frequently face in our meta.
Meld is fun and flavorful Andramalech. I've pulled off the Hanweir, the Writhing Township Meld Meld meld once in this deck. I was able to attack with it once, then I think someone dropped a board wipe in the turn rotation afterwards. Fun times. I think I would be more inclined to also include Phyrexian Dragon Engine if its base body also had an attack trigger. The melded Mishra is certainly strong and flavorful.
I think I'm most interested in seeing what the CMC will be for that leaked Grand Abolisher token maker. I'm already thinking of possible swaps for play testing once it gets fully spoiled (assuming it's real).

Crow-Umbra if tokens are heavy in your meta, have you considered Massacre Wurm? It's not directly synergetic with your deck but it is a massive punishment for your opponents going too wide.

Thank you for the suggestion TheOfficialCreator. I used to run Massacre Wurm in my Araumi of the deadtide deck before I took it apart a few months ago, so I definitely have a copy in my binders. It put in some work when it was Encored. My biggest reservation for inclusion in this deck is the heavy investment in 3 black pips in the casting cost for a three color deck, and it may not be fast enough to deal with Xyris and Jetmir mostly.
My current anti-token parity breaker is Legion Loyalist. It's a very efficient overrun effect and it prevents token boards from blocking. To a similar extent, Inkshield fogs Alpha strikes and leaves me with a massive token army to punch back with, barring removal and interaction. Inkshield was actually recommended to me by my friend that runs Chatterfang and Jetmir haha.

Hey Bro, cool deck. Some cards i woll copy. Tomorrow i will update my deck with the Warhammer Cards and with Terror of the Peaks every single Token will do dmg with him. I will try to shoot out creatures, Planeswalker and so on. Regards

Thank you for the suggestions mr5cientific. So far I'm feeling pretty happy with where my manabase is at. I recently swapped out Bojuka Bog for Scavenger Grounds so I could hit multiple yards at once, and activate in response to combos/triggers etc.
I've had Slayer's Stronghold on my radar, but opted for Hanweir instead since the Haste activation was slightly cheaper, and has the Meld potential with Hanweir Garrison Meld.
Of the 3 other lands you suggested, I could see maybe the White and/or Red lands fitting here, but I don't feel I currently need them. I think with this deck I'd rather have proactive board protection effects vs. Reanimation. I used Takenuma, Abandoned Mire in my Araumi deck before I took it apart. If I'm going to be milling, I like for it to be part of graveyard synergies. Similarly, if I am going to reanimate creatures in an aggro deck, I'd rather that they reanimate straight to the battlefield as opposed to my hand. I do have Living Death, Reanimate, Animate Dead, Necromancy, and Dance of the Dead as a reanimation package in binders in case I ever wanted to incorporate them. So far I'd rather just keep slamming creatures already in hand, instead of spending extra mana to get stuff back in non-Aristocrats/Reanimator deck.
