enpc. I misspoke. Thanks for catching that. It's Triskelion + Phyrexian Devourer in the yard and Necrotic Ooze on the field for the combo. Mikaeus is there on the off-chance I draw into Victimize. He can be buried and reanimated alongside Triskelion for a different, equally effective infinite damage combo.

All good. And yeah, that makes more sense, especially with all of the rules changes on Devourer. Its a good combo. Just have to make sure you don't sit down to a 5 player game :P

I am saddened by the lack of Devoted Druid/Quillspike combo. Otherwise, love it.

Omg pricy af any cheaper version of it i could play while building the while deck?
August 13, 2016 2:13 a.m.
Nothing over 100$ is critical to the deck, and much of it can be replaced by much cheaper budger options. For instance, Timetwister -> Whispering Madness, Imperial Seal --> Lim-Dul's Vault, Mana Drain --> Arcane Denial or Spell Pierce. I sadly can't recommend any well-built budget Mimeoplasm decks though.

Ohh and btw this may seem dumb but i dont understand why the commander is that powerfull and why its a t1 commander
August 14, 2016 4 a.m.
A big part of it is his color identity. BUG/Sultai is naturally the best 3-color combination for Reanimator builds. It has access to Buried Alive, Intuition, Survival of the Fittest, and nearly every other relevant reanimator spell. A big part of it is the commander himself though. The deck wins either by assembling Necrotic Ooze combo, activating Hermit Druid, or cheating Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur or another bomb into play. Mimeoplasm is relevant to all three of these strategies. If another reanimate effect isn't available, he can be used to copy Nooze from the graveyard and win. If Hermit Druid cannot be reached, Plasm can copy Mirror-Mad Phantasm. It's 2-mana ability has the same effect as HD here since its ability will fail to find, thus milling the whole deck. Finally, Mimeo is amazing at cheating bombs into play. Not only can he grab relevant creatures from your own graveyard, he can grab them from ANYONE'S graveyard. If Karador is foolish enough to entomb Boonweaver and pass the turn, BOOM, Mimeo disrupts his plan and nets a relevant creature. Having such a powerful piece of utility in the command zone makes the deck worthy of Tier 1, if only at its lower end.

Nice deck- you mention eternal witness in the description but its not in the deck itself-did it get cut, and if so, why- its really solid in concert with most of the reanimation spells in here, and the best card to tutor with evolution when you've just got mana dorks. You consider Birthing Pod as a combo assembly tool as well?
August 14, 2016 11:51 a.m.
@lagotripha: Currently Eternal Witness is out while I test Laboratory Maniac + Deep Analysis as a win con for Hermit Druid. In the interim she's been replaced by Regrowth, which is usually a slightly better card.
Birthing Pod can be amazing. It's not in this deck because there aren't quite enough creatures to justify it. In practice, it's slightly too slow to be good here.

Hey !! I really like the idea of this deck but i cant seem to understand what all the combos are, am not really a combo guy and would like to try it out and see how it feels :P. So i looked around on the internet and found you(your decks are awesome). I have the deck proxied atm, but i only see 2 combos in this deck.can you please explain some more combos and how to play the deck. am a total noob when it comes to mtg combos. pls help me become a better player

Currently the only combos being run are those listed in the description. Necrotic Ooze Package, Mike and Trike, and Hermit Druid/Mirror-Made Phantasm into Mike and Trike.
The first combo is fairly simply. You win by getting Phyrexian Devourer and Triskelion into the graveyard and Necrotic Ooze into play. The easiest cards for assembling this combo are Buried Alive, Fauna Shaman, and Survival of the Fittest.
The second combo (Mike and Trike) requires both Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Triskelion to be in play. The best cards for assembling this combo are BA, Shaman, Survival, Jarad's Orders, and Intuition.
The last combo is of course Hermit Druid. All this combo requires is for Druid to be in play (can be replicated with Mimeoplasm exiling Mirror-Mad Phantasm). Activating Druid bins your entire deck. From there, Narcomoeba is put into play. If a third creature is needed, Fatestitcher can be Unearthed. Dread Return is then flashed back, saccing three creatures to reanimate Eternal Witness. Witness returns Victimize to hand. Saccing Witness to Victimize reanimates Mike and Trike.
Does that help at all?
September 3, 2016 2:40 p.m.
yeah that helps a lot thanks, you mentioned that you that Mikaeus, the Unhallowed was out of the deck when you where testing. i can see how to get of using lab man, what have you figured out ?
September 21, 2016 2:52 p.m.
If you want to combo of with [hermit druid] and finish with Lab Man + Deep Analysis, is it not better to have [Dregscape Zombie] over [fatestitcher] ? making the mana recruitment blue blue black. to win.
combo: [hermit druid] on BF, Activating Druid bins your entire deck,From there, Narcomoeba is put into play.Unearthing dregscape zombie, flashed backing Dread Return, saccing three creatures to reanimate lab man casting deep analysis for the win.
September 21, 2016 3:30 p.m.
Fatestitcher has a huge advantage over Dregscape Zombie because it can untap a land or other mana source, thus making its effective cost 0 (or occasionally -1/-2) rather than 1. Mana is extremely tight on turn 3, and that upside makes Fatestitcher miles better than any other unearth creature.
September 21, 2016 3:55 p.m.
Holy sh.. did not think of that !!! your a genius. I love this deck. btw in this deck list mike is out where would you put him in ? i would love to keep the lab man deep+ analysis combo.

I would think that the necrotic ooze combo is only good in 3 player games. it only deals around 90 damage.
November 26, 2016 11:33 a.m.
You ever considered Sylvan Safekeeper in order to provide a way to protect ooze? That and Thornling have shown themselves to allow ooze to work better in my experience
enpc says... #1
Your Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Triskelion + Necrotic Ooze combo doesn't work with those three creatures alone. Ooze doesn't get any of Mikaeus' abilities.
