This deck is built around a mono-green mutate theme. Utilizing creatures with +1/+1 counters allows you to get an extra boost in stats when mutating. Building your mutate targets early you can use cards that grow over time like Pelt Collector and Nessian Hornbeetle , or if you are short on early mutate targets you can use versatile creatures like Stonecoil Serpent to fill any gap you may have. These grow-per-turn creatures benefit the most from our only enchantment Branching Evolution , allowing us to double any counters that go on our creatures. A card that benefits greatly from this, is also our prime mutate target, Yorve, Lord of Garenbirg, however, this creature is likely to draw removal spells out from your opponent, so be careful not to invest too much into him alone. The main cards you'll be using to mutate with will be Migratory Greathorn who helps you ramp if you're missing land drops, or provide extra stats for X/X creatures, and Gemrazer who is the ideal mutator, allowing you to trample through unexpectedly as well remove any pesky artifacts or enchantments that the opponent may be using. Lastly, our removal spells can serve double duty, allowing us to remove troublesome creatures that opponents refuse to block with, as well as getting in for extra damage, either by pumps ( Primal Might ) or targeting low toughness creatures with a trampler ( Ram Through )

((My deck building strategy is to have as many different cards while keeping a core theme. Trying to increase variety for and fun kitchen table play.))
