"My 4 Rhino color control hahaha" MONOBLACK AGGRO

Standard Aggro Mono-Black Weenie

ElvishSpirit

Sideboard

Game Day winner!

Oh my goodness, Shadows of Innistrad is going to do wonders to this deck. Super excited.

My god, 8000 views! This deck has blown up! Thanks everyone. Be sure to check out my other decks, including a mono black aggro MODERN deck!

A fast Black aggro that eats Rhinos for lunch and makes your opponent wish they didn't just drop $600, $700, $800 on a slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww deck. Jeskai vs Abzan in the Pro Tour finals huh? Well this deck can outrun both of them.

One of two standard decks I'm running this Standard season. I've done plenty of playtesting with pre-BFZ builds of this deck and it seems to hold it's own with most standard standard decks, especially good against all the slow paced control and Abzan decks that don't usually get going until turn 3 or 4. With BFZ coming into play I put in a couple new additions but for the most part it looks very similar to when I first made it when Origins came out.

Like most aggro, this deck wants to go, and it wants to go fast. 31 creatures with only 12 creatures that cost 3 or more. Creatures like Ruthless Ripper and Graveblade Marauder laugh off big blockers with Deathtouch. Every one-drop with the exception of Ruthless Ripper wants to deal 2 damage on turn 2. Mardu Skullhunter filters out alot of early or late game threats from your opponent, depending on how they want their deck to run. With 16 3-and-under-drops being warriors, Blood-Chin Rager helps with making sure you are dealing damage with them early game.

For a late game (as early as turn 4 as far as this deck is concerned), the 4 Erebos's Titan wins games. Should your opponent's deck be graveyard friendly, this card is an absolute bomb, but even if it isn't a black 5/5 turn 4 with no downside is still pretty insane.

Drana, Liberator of Malakir is an absolute blast in this deck, as if a 3 drop 2/3 flying first strike isn't good enough, it also puts counters on all the other weenies you are swinging with! Ruinous Path will be the new sorcery-speed kill spell, with the slight possibility of grabbing a 4/4 with it late game.

This deck is already a little easy on your wallet, but should you need even more of a budget build, the Drana's, Ruinous Path and the one Hangarback Walker can easily be omitted. Do not skip out on the 4 Erebos's Titan though. That card is a bomb and it is your easiest win condition, and most of the time it's only a buck or two. If you don't want to get a playset of Bloodsoaked Champion ($3.3 as I write this), Thornbow Archer is a nice replacement, or even grabbing a 4th Mardu Shadowspear or more Ruthless Ripper .Click here for a budget version of this deck!

Sideboard is fairly standard. Duress and Transgress the Mind slows burn and other aggro decks. Self-Inflicted Wound can be brutal for Abzan. Infinite Obliteration is hilarious hate against Abzan decks, with the ability to remove all those pesky Rhinos before they even get the chance to play them. (Not to mention it can combo with Erebos's Titan!)
