Nice to see that, with all this fancy mana floating around, monocolored decks are still a thing! +1 for originality and power. :)

I really dig the style and tempo of this deck. I love how it has a different take on standard rather than the typical dual or tri colored decks. +1 defiantly!!

So far I like the deck. I played 3 matches on Xmage and went 2-0 for all 3. I did get lucky on one though, Playing a mono white lock down. There was a lot of exile enchants coming at me, but the opposing pilot had no threats to speak of so I was still able to march to a victory. On that note I would personally add some enchant removal or permanent removal to the SB. Not sure whats available though.

I would recommend a direct damage card as a finisher, but there's a lack in standard. Not a fan of Demonic Pact personally.

All in all solid build. will do some more play-testing with it. +1

Any tips on playing against Dark Jeskai? Everyone at my store runs that deck it's so annoying.

thechusenone, if you want to beat full build Dark Jeskai with monoblack, the way to go is Duress and Transgress the Mind.

Use 4 of each in the side.

thechusenone Assuming it's a typical Dark Jeskai packed with Jace, Mantis, and like Soulfire, Infinite Obliteration is your best friend. Your number 1 target is probably the Mantis Rider unless their deck is super reliant on the Jaces.

Besides that man, just run the deck like it is. You are faster than it. They will be spending up to 3 turns mana fixing, and when they are finally ready to play, they will look up and notice the 4 creatures already on your field, all usually dealing at least 2 damage. Call me crazy, but that adds up fast.

And yes, packed with Mantis Rider and Tasigur for cheap. I ran Green/Black Aristocrats for a month and kept losing. Ready for a change.

Man I like this deck! +1.. but what about Tasigur, the Golden Fang for a quicker drop, and adding fetchs to drop him fast and to accelerate the deck?
