My Big Flashy Salty Chocolate Balls

Standard Control RUG (Temur)

watafire

Sideboard

"Hi Kids."

"Hi Chef."

"Would you like to try some of my Big Flashy Salty Chocolate Balls?" The concept is simple:

T1: Land. Go.

T2: Land. Go. Eot Flash in Creature.(If you have mana up)

T3: Land. Swing(If you flashed a creature in). Go. Oh the opponent wants to do something. Counter. Or another Eot Flash in Creature.

.

.

.

Rinse, Reuse, and Repeat until the match is done and watch your opponent leave salty and bitter.

To explain the Cards:

Shambleshark : Why? Because I get to have a 2-drop on the opponent's turn that will only get bigger.

Skylasher : Another 2-drop that will Evolve Shambleshark .

Boon Satyr : Let me fill that 3-drop slot with a 4-power beater, cool thanks.

Briarpack Alpha : Another "Why?" Because I want that extra blocker in the opponent's combat combat that will make one of my creatures bigger.

Horizon Chimera: I need some way to get some life sustain going. Oh and let me Flash-Block that Stormbreath Dragon, cause I can.

Syncopate, Dissolve, and Counterflux: Let's have some solid counter magic because you know, I'm always gonna have mana up.

Izzet Charm: Early game counter magic or aggro creature killer, or late game shenanigans with Horizon Chimera.

Mystic Genesis : I feel the format has slowed down to the point that we can play 5-CMC spells and not feel bad. Especially when you get to counter an AEtherling AND get a 6/6 Ooze out of it (that opponent will leave very bitter).

Simic Charm: Cause you know I need that Giant Growth, "don't touch my stuff", and Unsummon all in one card.

Izzet Staticaster : I hate Elspeth tokens, you hate Elspeth tokens, we all hate Elspeth tokens. So let me kill all of them when the opponent bombs their Elspeth, Sun's Champion; in their turn of course.

Lands are Lands, nuff said about that. Mutavault because I still need some sort of beater.

Sideboard:

Plummet : No to Desecration Demon and No to Stormbreath Dragon. And to be honest, No to Archangel of Thune.

Xenagos, God of Revels: Two of the only Four cards that do not have Flash or is an Instant. Xenagod comes in for the Monsters match, any of them (R/G, R/U/G, Jund, B/R/U/G, haven't decided on Mono Green).

Mistcutter Hydra: The other two non-Flash or Instant spell anywhere in this deck. And to be honest every time I thought of using Mistcutter Hydra I thought ''But I want to counter the control deck, not let them get a free win-con." So for now it can stay.

Dispel and Swan Song: Both come in for the control match up and Swan Song is coming in if I suspect Thoughtseize. "Oh you have a Blue Bird I have a Skylasher . MKay?"

Destructive Revelry: You know you hate those pesky Detention Spheres and Chained to the Rocks , you know who you are. And those weapons, man just look at them disappear. Oh you like Banishing Light, look at it leave.

Izzet Staticaster and Simic Charm: I wanted more of each to do each's respective job.

So build it, play it, modify it, and let me know how you like to play this deck.
