Unless I'm missing something, there is no combo here. Replace the temples for shocklands, drop Guttersnipe , Lightning Reaver , Nightveil Specter , Fireball , Thassa, God of the Sea , Distortion Strike , and Rakdos's Return . Combust is the only sideboard piece worth using. Prophetic Bolt is not legal in Modern.

Prophetic Bolt corrected.

That sounds like, um, a totally new deck. No. I will concede, soft combo (There is no "Synergy" hub) here. This is far from a storm deck. Let me clarify for future comments: I am keeping the same concept for the deck, or I am dropping $100 that I already have for $400 I don't want. If I wanted a proven deck, I would ask one of the dozen competitive modern playersr that already have said decks.

What I want are cards that do essentialy what I've already got. I am interested in more efficient cards, not totally new ones. Thank you.

I don't understand, what your deck is supposed to do. Can you explain, what it tries to do? I'm curious.

Its a lot of small interactions, and I will admit it's gotten a bit jumbled. The deck began as an idea of how to best utilize Battlefield Thaumaturge (Hence the Fireballs). Since then its become a loosely designed off-Burn deck. Upon re-assessing it, I think I may have made more of a midrange shift? Honestly I'm not sure. I'll devote a few hours just to assessment Monday-Tuesday and get back to you.

However! It does work. While it won't be taking any tournaments soon, The goal is to make top 8 at the next local event; to that end it has proven fairly solid. Largely what I'm trying to do is cover as many bases as possible. Its a bit hard to control what you can't take care of, and I'm not as much a fan of counterspells (That's a really complex reason, I'll not go in to that here).

... you know what? This has deviated greatly from topic, and I'm not really sure what I'm trying to convey at this point. I will sum this all up for an update for Booooosh 2.0 after some more testing and assessment over the next few days. I apologize for the incoherent manner in which this was presented.

This somehow reminds me about my deck Griselbrand has no time now, but when he has.... Neither of decks have clear focus. I've noticed, that it's incredibly difficult to play with deck, that doesn't have focus, but it's not impossible. I've even win some games with my deck. Opponents doesn't usually have either any idea how to play against, that deck and often missideboard or misplay.
