The base deck is for casual or legacy play, but with side and maybe board can play in modern. I already have the cards like blood crypt which are a bit more expensive land, just take them out. For the modern build take out muscle and heart sliver. As well as some of the duel lands, for the modern legal land on the maybeboard. This cost me about $70 and it works great. Have fun
