I removed Kitchen Finks because it was vastly underperforming and had no real purpose besides gaining 2 life. I took them out for Auriok Champion which makes my Delver and Junk match-ups SOOOO much better. I agree however that Mangara of Corondor is underwhelming, but it has helped me against Scapeshift, manlands, affinity pieces and Lili. The best thing to do with it is Vial it in EOT.

Okay, I removed Fracturing Gust from the side, placed Fiendslayer Paladin in there, and mainboarded a couple of Scavenging Oozes.

You can read up on the burn match-up in the description. But since the change which is also described in the top of the description, I'd say my game one is a little more weaker without Fiendslayer Paladin, but my game 2 and game 3 are a little more stronger with Scavenging Ooze giving me a bit more life-gain. I still have to do some testing against burn with this, but Scavenging Ooze definitely is good against delver, scapeshift and twin because of the anti-snappy effect it has. Which means it is perfectly fine to run against Living End to weaken them a bit, and against Melira Pod to shut off their combo.

Yeah, yeah that's all well and good but what about the mirror match?

TheAlexGnan Sylvan Caryatid is not worth more because he's a two-mana dork. Decks will pretty rarely use a one-mana dork, but on T2, they want to start attacking or preparing a combo, not putting out a dork.

if you want to play test against the burn match up, i'd be happy to help.

Oh, I get enough playtesting down easily, ceji3. Thanks for the offer though.

I understand that with Mirran Crusader, TheAlexGnan, which is why Jund is higher on the list in terms of difficulty than it is with Junk. However, it is still a VERY good beater in terms of about 25% of the meta. Having a total of 4 power means that Twin can't block with Deceiver Exarch, and Zoo, Mono-G Aggro, Collected Melira and Hatebears, all have difficulties getting through something with protection from green. He must be answered, otherwise he deals massive impacts towards the board state. But him being weak to bolt is the reason why he's at a 2 of, but he still kicks ass when you combine him with Noble Hierarch.

Your delver review was incorrect: "...but in a colour we never saw before.". Um, Grixis Delver WAS a thing, and was actually quite popular.
Either way, this deck is sub-par hatebears deck, which was already not very playable. It would get ass-fucked if you brought it to a real sanctioned tournament. Take hatebears out of the hubs, since it certainly isn't hatebears, since it HAS NO HATE!

Yeah, you haven't actually played the deck Scorprix. I really wish you would learn to not just look at a list and dis it off without any actual experience in playing it. I'll leave the hatebears in there since it is the closest hub that we have to meta bears.
May 24, 2015 6:37 p.m.
Before I played Jund, I played Hatebears. I know A LOT on this subject, and this IS NOT Hatebears.
Also, there are playtest and draw hand buttons. I don't want to be mean, but the fact is that this isn't good. I don't simply diss, and I've been known to throw around upvotes, but I'm sorry, this is pretty much trash.
May 24, 2015 7:55 p.m.
Calling a deck with 4 path to exile and multiple mirran crusader 'pretty much trash' is slightly misguided when 10% of the current meta almost completely folds or at the very least has a very very hard time against that card......

Well... I actually saw a very, very similar deck get absolutely wrecked by Tron today... The differences were Glen Elendra Archmage and an infinite life package. I talked with the pilot a little out of curiosity, he's still tossing around ideas to make it better, but who knows. There are a lot of CoCo variants being tossed around still, pretty sure I saw a couple people of note attempting to run Project Melira to varying degrees of effectiveness as well.

I think it is designed to combat BG/x including collected company decks.
Against the rest of the meta..... nah. I can totally understand it being thrashed. Can't do anything about tron. 4 path doesn't let you win against twin. Can't interact with lands so can't beat shift. Makes sense.

Huzzah to deleting things accidentally then edit being turned off.
It lost to Tron resetting the game twice, to a very good Twin pilot and to Scapeshift through Magus of the Moon and skite.

That's fair, but the logistical problem that poses is that the majority of players attempting to wreck b/g/x go to Tron and Scapeshift.

Femme_Fatale says... #21
I can imagine him getting easily slaughter by Tron fluffybunnypants, after all, I have claimed that Tron is this deck's second most weakest match up. Scapeshift is a fairly difficult match-up, but I haven't had problems against Twin.

You should try Creeping Corrosion or put Fracturing Gust back in. You will pretty much always lose to affinity, seeing that you have no artifact or enchantment removal.

Kataki, War's Wage has been doing absolute wonders against affinity. I also put in Burrenton Forge-Tender as well.

TBH, Congregation at Dawn+Collected Company+Kataki, War's Wage>Stony Silence.
You don't just run whatever card you want in your sideboard. It needs to mesh well with what your deck is doing,

Kitchen Finks is missing. Without Karakas in the format, Mangara of Corondor is underwhelming.
