My first jund, want to see how it plays and change it to my taste.

From the source: Putrid Leech is a great card against all kinds of creatures. It's a two drop 4/4 creature for two life will kill about any early creature your oppenent puts out there, and if they don't play a creature your hitting for four life early on. Thats a great way to start the match.

Sprouting Thrinax is Wrath of God proof and if they play Path to Exile your going to double Blightning them on turn five.

Bloodbraid Elf is a perfect addition to the deck. Cascade, Hast, and 3/2 is going to bring your opponent to their knees early on. Clear the field with a Lightning Bolt and hit them for 3 without haveing to pay a mana cost.

Broodmate Dragon is expensive so three is more than enough for a deck. This card gives you creature advantage with it's 4/4 flying token that comes into play with it.

Lightning Bolt is a say no more card. Hitting those creatures like Ball lightning and [card]Hellspark Elemental[card] or just lowering counters on a planeswalker makes this a must have one manna cards for a Jund deck.

Terminate lets you deal with those regen creatures that stall you out. Thanks to this card thats not an issue anymore. Thats why I think it deserves a spot in this deck. It can be sideboarded for [card]Great Sable Stag[/car] if your opponent is not running regen.

Blightninghits your opponents creatures and hand makeing it effective for card advantage against control.

Maelstrom Pulse is effective against almost any card you come up against. It devistates multi tokens and will destroy a planeswalker. A great card to clear the field and a must have to a Jund deck. If your a serious magic player it's worth every cent.

Bituminous Blast hits for four for free basically with its cascade effect getting rid of alot of those 4/4 creatures.

Garruk Wildspeaker gives you creature advantage, mana advantage, and trample. He can make your [/card]Putrid Leech[/card] a 7/7 trample creature, or a hasty Bloodbraid Elf a 6/5 creature with trample making him a plus for any Jund deck.

Sideboard Mind Rot and Duress are great cards against control decks. Jund Charm is great mass removal or power build for gurreks tokens and trample ability. Great Sable Stag walks right by a Wall of Denial and Vampires.

Other cards that can be used in this deck:

Raging Ravine can be swapped out for your Rootbound Crag giving you a land creature. This swap delt pro player Tom Ross his only cosecutive loss in the pro tour San Diego. Borderland Ranger can be put in for land draw and help get your Gerruk Wildsreaker[/card] out. Goblin Ruinblaster is another card people are putting in their Jund decks for land control. Rip-Clan Ccrasher costs two for a 2/2 hast Rampant Growth definitly speeds things up in the ramp department Incinerate has been played for direct damage or as a creature destroyer.
