Hmmm....
Most obviously: do you have a sideboard? If not, why not? There a lot of matches where you'd obviously rather have Assault Strobe or Tainted Strike over Slaughter Pact or Duress. Don't get me wrong, there are matches where you absolutely need those things, but that's what the SB is for.
Pulling that stuff out could make room for Serum Visions, Manamorphose, Gut Shot, or any number of useful things. The sideboard is also needed because this deck is pretty easy to deal with the second time around. If I were you, I'd also want to be boarding in some Pact of Negation, maybe Vines of Vastwood. I'd also rather have Distortion Strike than Ground Rift.
I realize I just made a bunch of suggestions that would require a different mana base, but there's no reason you can't run 4X Mana Confluence here.

The slaughter pacts are main board so I can find them with plunge into darkness game one if needed and if I do not need them and draw them I can just use nivmagus' ability for free +1+1 counters

Interesting deck. I think I would play Nivix Cyclops over Nivmagus Elemental It dodges lightning Bolt, and it's a stronger card overall. Also, keep in mind, when you exile a spell with elemental, the spell will not resolve so you can't use it's effects. Sucks, I know. Also, Tainted Strike seems out of place here. Titan's Strength would be stronger. I would also play the new blue cantrip Slip Through Space It's awesome in decks like this. Hope this helps!

Thanks for suggestions but this deck is only red black so nivix cyclops and slip through space would be out of place, and i did come fourth out of 40 people at a GPT i know that the spell does not resolve but nivmagus elemental has got me many a turn 2 kill before so it has a rightfull place in this deck, thanks for suggestions anyway, do you have any sideboard suggestions?

I couldn't even begin to tell you how to make this deck better. Something that uses red but doesn't even run lightning bolt main board is throwing me for a loop. I have seen death's shadow decks in legacy but it was blue black. It wasn't trying to voltron up a creature and quick kill. Just synergy with removal and a clock on the shadow.

Bolts just dont help this deck, some cards are just better, this deck is how i made it and i was asking for SIDEBOARD SUGGESTIONS not how my deck can be in general better, hundereds of hours of gameplay have gone into this deck, it is quite polished as is, i just need sideboard help
February 3, 2016 2:03 p.m.
Sultaiorpepper I can't help you with your SB when I don't even know what you're trying to do with your mainboard. I have a difficult time believing this can turn 2 kill but sure.

I know you need help with the sideboard. But like he said I cannot help you if I do not even understand the mainboard. You obviously know full well how the deck plays, and it basically is a combo deck. You cannot water down combo much with sideboard stuff anyways. I think Nivmagus Elemental is a non-bo with a lot of your cards, especially Gitaxian Probe and Duress. Don't you want to make them discard or draw a card as opposed to exiling them? And if you do, it doesn't help the game plan if you chose to let them resolve since you would not be getting the 2 1/1 counters. I mean yeah this thing could kill t2 but it is so inconsistent. The combo would have to be in your opening hand which makes mulligan with this deck tempting, but every mulligan probably gets worse. Tainted Strike has always been one of those cards, just like nivmagus elemental, that I just looked at saw potential but always found it lacking.
TLDR. Point is you understand the deck probably better than most. Just identify what feels like first worst matchup you would face and dedicate like 8 cards for it. Another 4 for second worst matchup and then a few general sideboard cards. One thing I notice is your Assault Strobe. When do you bring that in? Isn't it already good enough to be in the main? I think lightning bolt does deserve a spot in the main, especially over Slaughter Pact.

The strobes are for matchups with less interaction as it adds speed to the kill

Well... Thoughtseize is pretty much a strict upgrade to Duress. Take out the Slaughter Pacts for a Dismember. Ground Rift is interesting but it certainly feels lackluster most of the time, I would knock in 2-3 bolts in its place. The sideboard looks pretty solid, though you might want a Gut Shot or two in there for Affinity/Infect (replacing the bolts which will go mainboard). Land-wise, you want a full playset of Bloodstained Mire, replacing a Blood Crypt and one of the basics.

I Have considered all of those cards and i agree the thoughtsieze and full play set of fetches would be good but, money and availability are why i do not have those

Just out of curiosity, what's the reasoning the no bolts and no shots in the side? Seems like the bolts are almost a direct upgrade to the Rifts.

FAMOUSWATERMELON - I could be wrong, but I'm guessing the Storm triggers are important for combo wins - I think each instance of Storm triggers Fiend separately, and I'm guessing you exile Storm copies individually to boost Nivmagus.
Sultaiorpepper - That being said, I think the questionable card choice here is Rakdos Charm. Sure, it's a good, verstaile sideboard item - but I really can't see too many situations where it wins you the game (I may be missing something) - and this is a very all-in deck where minor disruption isn't going to matter in almost any matchup. You may be better off with more Pyroclasm, Lightning Bolt or Gut Shot - all of which could conceivably be the difference between winning and losing in certain situations.

Ninja'd by deck owner!
Those were mostly good changes to the SB, but I don't see where Sudden Shock is going to help you more than Bolt. Though I do agree with adding the extra burn - there's a lot of situations where you need to clear a path, since none of your dudes have evasion, and you only have 1X mainboard Strobe. I would just ditch the Shocks and 1X Crypt for the rest of the Bolts.

Rakdos charm is pretty sweet actually. Destroy an artifact is relevant for affinity even though you shouldn't care about removal that much, getting rid of a cranial plating gives twice as much time as you would have had. Exiling the graveyard against some decks is going to win games just by taking their strategy away. Against elves/affinity/living end I could see it winning the game.

say i do replace them with bolts, how do i beat delver?
February 3, 2016 3:31 p.m.
Wizard_of_the_Broke says... #24
Is Delver that bad of a matchup? You're playing the same number of threats as them - theirs all die to Bolt, and their removal isn't so good against Shadow and guys that get boosted at instant speed. Add to that the fact that your creatures create a faster clock than Delver and you should be okay with a decent draw. But, I've never played your deck.

Real low on lands (especially for a 5 color deck). You should have about 23.
