Little budget deck that I built. I have been using it for ages. It really takes control of games by juking the opponent with really good trades early game due to things like
Favored Hoplite
and
Gods Willing
.
Card Explanation:
Favored Hoplite
- is such an unreal one drop and has value in and of itself with the 1/2
- gets proc damage when targeted
- really easy to get big fast
Battlewise Hoplite
- decent two drop
- people underestimate the scry
Ordeal of Thassa
/
Ordeal of Heliod
- really good turn two play against non removal decks
- guaranteed 3 damage turn two
- gives a really huge threat with the gain 10 life/draw cards
Gods Willing
- because gods willing, gives essentially another life to your dudes and let's you scry and triggers heroic. 3 for 1 central.
Daxos of Meletis
- good three drop.
- rewarding to pump with the ordeals because creatures with 3 or more power can't block
- solid life gain and options for cards to play
Aqueous Form
- easy one drop heroic trigger
- gets free and safe damage through
- scry is so good
Hidden Strings
- with aqueous form it allows you to trigger heroic for days as when you recast a free version of it it's still a spell and if you target your dudes it triggers heroic
Nivmagus Elemental
- is my bae
- wins games if played right
- with something that targets two things (coming up next) you can play the card target the heroic dudes and exile it with nivmagus for a 2 for 1
Bioshift
- double target
- can really juke opponents into burn something and then suddenly they are out of burn range
- play it targeting two phalanx leaders and exile with nivmagus suddenly you have two 3/3s and one 5/6
Phalanx Leader
- pretty killable two drop
- really good when going into later game
- can pull off some pretty sick finishes
Triton Tactics
- same as bioshift really just double target and good protection
- also really nice against chunky creatures with a favored hoplite because it keeps em tapped
I will do the sideboard when I can.
