theme #1: big "on cast" triggers

• 5 color to get all the myojin
• commander that helps cheat on cost
• a few clones, a few ways to bounce

theme #2: cycling

• 15 lands with basic types that come with cycling
• lots of expensive cards with colorless landcycling to fix 5 color mana with any starting lands
• should end up with around 30-35 cards with cycling, almost 1/3 of the deck!
• can support engine cards (on cycle, on discard, descend, threshold)
• landtype cyclers can fetch lands with cycling to double up on triggers

theme #3: modal use

• we dont have room for dedicated draw, so we need high threat density / good topdecks late game
• density of landcycling means we can keep land count relatively low
• cycle cards can be mana early, threats later
• that way, the only dead cards are bombs in early game

ratios

aiming for 50/50 on spells vs mana sources (including land cyclers)
