The point is to get the heartless summoning and 2 myr retriever combo going ASAP. Along with any of the cards that would win the game (example turn 1 land, turn 2 heartless summoning, turn 3 sellhoff oculist with 2 myr retrivers and they are milled out completely).

But drawing that perfect hand is a very, very, small chance. So the rest of the deck is essentially just search cards. This deck can pull off pretty easy and consistent turn 5 wins (turn 3 earliest possible).

I made this deck so that i can have a fighting chance at my local FNM modern tournaments without paying more than $1 for a card. (if you dont include the sideboard which is more than the actual deck simply because of spellskite). The deck without the sideboard is about $20. So the deck is VERY cheap when compared with other modern decks, but it will still win a solid amount of games.
