I had a 5 color child of alara then a 5 color super friends, and now I want to do a 5 color elemental to see what happens. This deck looks good, have you played with it in real life or is this just an idea?

Most likely it's her ability to tutor for anything.

Ziggy24 as chirz2792 said, Liliana is there for her tutor ability. I did't want to run a lot of tutors, so she made the cut as the one and only. If i get a Fauna Shaman though, Liliana will come out pretty fast. Either that or a Garruk, Caller of Beasts.

ok that makes sence, but are you ever able to keep it out that long. when ever i play a planes walker they die with in half a turn.

Ziggy24 I can hold priority and pop off her tutor ability without interference. My friend and I looked it up and the opposing player cannot respond between casting and activating a loyalty ability if no other action is taken between them. But as I said, Liliana is a placeholder for Garruk or Fauna Shaman.

Looks good! I've been working on my own Horde build for a bit as a side project. How are you finding your mana base? Would you say Titania's a must to make it work?

Would highly recommend Dust Elemental too. Great body, cheap cost, and a way to reuse some of those utility ETB creatures, bypassing the graveyard and the WUBRG cost for each one.

theplotthinnens the mana base is actually fairly smooth with the numbers I used, which surprised me a lot. And while Titania is definitely very powerful, she's nowhere near essential to make the deck run properly.
