A simple to play intro deck.

Meant for teaching the basics of Magic to a complete novice. Specifically for a child's first deck so nothing too scary/bloody and cheap cards.

For sake of simplicity:

• mono-color
• creatures have only basic abilities like trample, reach or vigilance;
• no counters!
• at least one dinosaur — kids like dinosaurs ;-)

In testing it can actually hold its own in casual playing style. This is important so that the person playing is not losing all the time, and the teacher/opponent can still enjoy the game.

Hopefully will lead to many years of enjoyment! Get them hooked on Magic, they won't be able to afford drugs in high school ;-)

Update The kid really took the game so I wound up getting some better cards like Ghalta, these could be easily swapped out for cheaper cards.
