Lol nope it doesn't show foreign card images. That would require a billion times more work from the TO staff, and they're already overworked the way it is.

Why so much land? I playtested this against a very aggressive deck and managed to push past the control elements until it was top decking, but then it was only top decking lands. Why not take out 4 lands and put in 4 Taigam's Scheming? It draws fairly deep and feeds Dig Through Time to get to your win condition

hmm, that's weird. when I did some simulations and playtesting, ill say 25-40% of the time, i still miss land drops even i play with 25 lands. Taigam's Scheming won't benefit that much in this deck because 1) i dont really rely on delve because I have only 1 (Dig Through Time), 2) i dont have cards that brings it back to my hand from the graveyard unless i put Jace, Vryn's Prodigy Flip here, 3)although it sets up my next draws specially narset's spells, its slow for me.
My solution right now is having Anticipates, Dig Through Time, and occasionally Narset Transcendent's +1 ability. i may consider a copy of Ugin's Insight if this thing continues to be a problem.
thanks for your thoughts.

You also need at least 1 island for Flooded Strand to grab on to. The whole point of that card is that it gives you the flexibility to fetch what you need. As it is you might as well play a plains, since that's what it gets you every time you use it.

Sorry I forgot to edit that part, oh yeah, i realized that I need to fetch at least an island or a plains when I needed it. its already updated.

Instead of Narset, Transcended and Sarkhan, I'll recommend Gideon, Ally of Zendikar. He is a very consistent threat that also dodges sorcery speed removal, can anthem to power up your Narset, and also can provide a constant stream of 2/2's to help you with a board presence.

Actually i consider him already because i have problems with narset being sacrificed due to her being alone in the battlefield. With his soldiers, it protects narset from being sacrificed. Right now he's in my SB but i might put him in main.
ill make more simulations and ill let u know if it works. Thnx

To answer the Ugin's Insight ?. It seems like that far in the game it's not that great here. To answer the Ojutai's Command ?, I think its perfect and a key card for Jeskai going forward. Reasons are exactly what you stated, pesky Rhinos, Hangarback, Jace's, lots of things that can be countered, also pretty decent to bring back your 2 power creatures to chump or trigger off of, plus yeah its a good way to gain 4 life for four mana thats a pretty good deal anyway.

Have you considered Serpentine Spike in place of Scour from Existence? It seems like a good way to 2 for 1 or even 3 for 1 your opponent.

I guess ill stick to Ojutai's Command then. its also beneficial with Howl of the Horde with raid.
if it hits players then yes but unfortunately its not. so for now, ill stick to Scour from Existence.

Played Jeskai yesterday went 3-1 only loss to Atarka Red and it was still a super close matchup, Ojutai's Command was a star in my deck yesterday especially vs landfall, just let them hit me and gain four and counter their big dumbness creatures. Played vs Atarka Red, BR Devoid, RG Landfall and Mono Red Goblins feat Zada and Piledriver.

I am playing a similar build Narset, Enlightened Master Jeskai Control, and have played Narset in Standard for the last 6 months.
Something I have become very aware of is that if you cannot control the board until you cast Narset, its pretty difficult to win. Then, once you cast Narset, its not a guaranteed win, as you will often flip multiple lands at once.
Whats frustrating is flipping creatures without the ability to get them back. I only run 4 Narset with 2 Soulfire Grand Masters. If I live long enough to cast Narset, I have to flip cards that either continues to clear stuff off the opponents board, or do direct damage to the opponent.
Howl of the Horde is explosive especially when you cast it post combat after attacking with Narset, Enlightened Master. You can do 12 damage that way with a Jeskai Charm or Exquisite Firecraft.
Lets see how the format develops after the upcoming Pro Tour, then we will be able to more fully adjust Narset to handle the metagame.
Including anything with an "X" casting cost, or spells that require multiple colors in the mana cost, does not seem like an option for this deck, as it will fall flat if you flip it with Narset. Dig Through Time or Anticipate can help with this, however, you will flip enough lands which are immediately exiled, and I wouldnt want to add anything else beyond Narset and Soulfire that would do the same. Your spells have to significantly push you towards a win fairly quickly once you are swinging with Narset.

When Theros Block was in standard, this deck had easy answers to almost anything. When you're dealing against aggros or any token decks, you can do Anger of the Gods + Soulfire Grand Master gaining great amounts of life. I did also have Stoke the Flames and Lightning Strike to answer Narset's threats. When Riddle of Lightning was in standard too, I can instantly deal 6-11 damage alone thanks to my big spells. And yes, Howl of the Horde was so explosive when I have those cards. This deck surprised tier 1 decks in the past format and won some money matches.
Now that we lost a lot of instant red burn spells and small sweepers, this deck became some sort of a control-combo deck which leads to your statement "...we cannot control the board until narset is in the battlefield...and is not yet guaranteed to win." Exquisite Firecraft was kinda slow to me unlike Stoke the Flames, Wild Slash isn't enough to support Narset late game. Radiant Flames is our replacement for Anger of the Gods but with convergence, its not good for narset to flip with. Scour from Existence is expensive...but thats all we got right now,Disperse to slow them down...unless we splash for another color which is what im planning to do in the future.
The only good thing right now in this present standard format for this deck is planeswalkers. Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker is a good hasty planeswalker to hold the line for us, Gideon, Ally of Zendikar is also good in holding the line for you with his allies, to pump Narset and your allies and to protect Narset to be sacrificed. I also considered Jace, Vryn's Prodigy Flip to flashback our spells but I try not to have too much creatures. Narset Transcendent was also a good option rebounding your spells and having pseudo card advantage.
Well see the next weeks of standard...

Brutal Expulsion instead of disperse? Not sure if it destroys the curve though.Volcanic Vision if you miss riddle so much.Chandra's Ignition as a replacement of anger of the gods, or even Chandra's Fury.
Trying to build an narset deck myself, using your deck (amongst others) as inspiration. So cheers for sharing. Also, is end hostilities better than tragic arrogance mainboard? Did you arrive at that conclusion by playtesting or a guess?

I think Radiant Flames is good enough to replace Anger of the Gods...although its weird to flip it with narset dealing 0 damage. At least theres an alternative.
while Brutal Expulsion is good, it increases my mana curve so I settled with disperse. As for Volcanic Vision, i dont have that much instant and or sorcery cards that have converted mana cost 6 or greater so i wont add that.
I still prefer End Hostilities over Tragic Arrogance. I use tragic arrogance to choose the same card for a specific card type (ex. Choosing Hangarback Walker as an artifact and a creature)

If i will include him, i should also put Jeskai Ascendancy in this deck. Although its nice to have it here against black mages who likes to sac creatures, but i try not to put too much creatures for narset.

Splash black for Utter End over Scour from Existence, and through in a Crackling Doom or two for Dragonlord Ojutai.

DECK UPDATED FOR GAMEDAY! YEHEY! lol
2460allthetime - as much as I want to convert this into Jeskai black, I stayed on Jeskai colors because its too much for me. People will try to counter it so bad to the point they will remove your black source to prevent me to cast Crackling Doom.
There were a lot of times when in DTK-ORI timeline, I used Dragonlord Ojutai and it was good. I also used Prognostic Sphinx to help narset combo her spells and it was good too. With all the available ojutai hates in their decks today, I decided to revive Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker. I think he is more resilient and faster than Ojutai. Well see in the next weeks of standard.

This was my narset deck, found great utility with myth realized and Outpost Siege. Consistent cars draw helps, narset is most effective in a deck with a low land count. This deck was pre origins, after origins I included Disciple of the Ring and Willbreaker. Single copies to reduce my creatures.
Also, Citadel Siege paired with narset and Temporal Trespass makes her a first strike monster.
Temporal trespass is better, easier to cast because delve works great with this deck type.
If you make room for hordling outburst and Dragon fodder, add impact tremors to force a stalled board.
Good luck with your deck, I had difficulty finding a way to make narset competitive.
Please check out and vote on my new deck. The Elements Have Fangs
