i would run an enter the infinite, a past in flames and a grape shot for 200 damage.

Since the deck relies on Narset in play to go off, you really should have some protection for her, like Champion's Helm and Swiftfoot Boots, maybe also Darksteel Plate, with the latter allowing her to survive your sweepers. Wandering Fumarole, Needle Spires, Celestial Colonnade also good since you have really no creatures, same with Anger of the Gods and Fumigate. Medomai the Ageless and Aurelia, the Warleader would be good creatures.

Interesting build, +1

3dsINsider I already am running a Enter the Infinite and I used to run Past in Flames but cut it as it was inconsistent with what I would have in the grave. I think Grapeshot would also be too inconsistent as in edh for it to be lethal I would have to have a storm count of 40 per opponent and I don't see myself hitting that outside of corner cases.

Jimmy_Chinchila I used to run Swiftfoot Boots and Lightning Greaves but since Narset already has Hexproof it was more for the haste, for the same reason I don't think Champion's Helm would be very strong as it would only provide +2/+2 for a total of 4 mana (assuming I don't cast it off of Narset's ability). To protect Narset from sweepers I've been running Indestructibility but recently I've been able to cast Narset and go off on extra turns and combats much faster and it has been more and more a dead card in hand or just and extra spell I get off of Narset. I feel like Darksteel Plate would be the same in the deck. For the man lands I do think they are strong cards and I was considering them for the deck but I've been slowly removing all of the lands in my deck that entered tapped as many times they are too slow and would cost me a turn without Narset. Anger of the Gods is a board clear I am considering since if any of my voltron pieces are already on Narset she wont die from it but for Fumigate I have removed all the board clears from my deck that cost more than 4 to improve consistency and speed other than Blasphemous Act since often times when useful it costs only 1 mana and I don't think the extra life gain on Fumigate is worth the extra mana. Both Medomai the Ageless and Aurelia, the Warleader I had in my deck but removed since I want to run as few creatures with Narset, as flipping them with her ability would be a waste and I find Medomai the Ageless weak as he can't generate more extra turns during any of the turns generated from the spells I cast. Aurelia, the Warleader I only recently cut as I have found her extremely useful for extra combats but now I feel she is too slow at 6 mana and is hardish to cast with her double white and red. Also the fact that she is a creature means I can't cast her from Narset's ability. Thank you for your suggestions though! I really appreciate it.

Savage beating only seems good if it's in your hand correct? As you can't cast it until after combat if it's flipped with narset. Seems like a wasted flip. Also I'd suggest throwing in an ancient tomb and Chandra, torch of defiance as they both get narset out earlier. Also add expropriate as it's at least one extra turn and your opponent's best permanent. Jace, the mind sculptor is a brainstorm that sticks around and helps stack the top of your deck better. I also feel like karn and ugin are game ending planeswalkers that would be nice to flip into. The on color scry lands are cheap and again help you early game and late game you can scry you into good cards for narset to flip.Venser, the sojourner makes narset unblockable.Elspeth, knight errant makes narset bigger and makes her fly over your opponent's creatures.Maze of ith is kinda cheap and allows you to attack with narset and prevent damage dealt to her and still get your flips.

Espoc19 Narset's trigger is on attack and as such before damage allowing you to cast Savage Beating off of the flip. Currently I am planning to cut Temple of the False God for an Ancient Tomb. The scry lands I actually cut 2 days ago as I felt they were too slow. Any land that enters tapped I feel is too slow because there have been way too many games where I have to wait a turn to cast Narset due to the last needed mana being a land that enters tapped. Expropriate as well has Temporal Manipulation are on my to add list for her extra turn package. While I love planeswalkers I've actually also been cutting down on them since while they are strong I rather run more mana rocks to play Narset faster as well as more Time Warp effects. (I actually cut Karn and Ugin from the deck before) Maze of Ith is an interesting suggestion and I will consider adding it. Thanks for your suggestions!

why use Waves of Aggression over Aggravated Assault in the combo? the waves can constantly be countered whereas with the enchantment, once its not countered it takes board removal instead of counterspells, which you have plenty of counters for if you need them. So instead of wasting counters on aggression to force it through, just use it on the enchantment destruction (which is a LOT less prevalent than counterspells)

Athraithe Aggravated Assault is on my to buy list currently along with other extra combat and turn spells. Also generally if I use Waves of Aggression with retrace its because I didn't hit anything with my initial swing in a turn. Its just a neat interaction that can loop and net me more extra combats when needed.

Love it! +1 from me!

I'd suggest running Mana Severance. Helps clear out the lands in your library after you have Narset out. Then when you swing, you only hit useful stuff!

Here's my take on Narset, if interested: Aura-merica

you should add in cards that allow oyu to bring cards back from exile so most of your turn repeaters can be used again after use.

Well there's only two of them that I can think of so that's a ridiculous idea. It's much more efficient to just have more extra turn cards. Or play Beacon of Tomorrows. Nobody should play tons of extra turns of course as that's the definition of degenerate bullshit easy mode Narset but if you're going to you don't play Pull from Eternity

February 19, 2017 1:07 a.m.

Also ticked-off-squirrel, you know the card you cast with Narset a ability from exile go to wherever they would normally go right? They don't stay exiled.

February 19, 2017 1:08 a.m.

were you trying to say "thanks for the suggestion but I don't think I will do that. it's more efficient to have several extra turn cards than to have cards that get them from exile. but thanks anyway" the way you said was extremely rude. and I was trying to be nice. I was even going to apologize for saying the same comment twice.

EternalBrewmaster While I don't run cards that bring back turn repeaters from exile because I have tested it before and found it inefficent, I already do run Beacon of Tomorrows and I find it kinda rude that you yelled at ticked-off-squirrel for making a suggestion on a deck that isn't even yours on top of calling my deck the "degenerate bullshit easy mode". I play my deck in a competitive environment where everyone tries to build the most efficient deck possible and everyone has infinite combos and types of cards most players dislike as they are hyper competitive. For example one of the decks I play against often is Prepare Your Salami for the AzamiEveryone enjoys their own play style and play in different environments.

February 19, 2017 3:56 a.m.

It's not my deck so I don't need to say thanks for the suggestion and your interpretation of my comment being rude is your own insecurity reading in tone that wasn't there from an internet comment. I logically explained to you why your idea was not a successful strategy and moved on. An emotional response was not intended. If you get easily upset by people telling you your ideas are dumb, don't suggest dumb ideas. Or if you're going to, at least mention the cards you're talking about to facilitate a good discussion.

And deck-owner, it sounds like you and your playgroup are unfamiliar with or purposely disregard the social contract in EDH. Maybe go read up on mtgcommander.net. Playing with that play style is anathema to the format and not what I or most other people would enjoy seeing if we sat down across the table from new people.
