Narset, Enlightened Master with Generator Servant is a turn 4 swinging Narset, Enlightened Master? That's a really interesting combo, and all the planeswalkers seem to have a great balance. +1 from me for sure.

As a big fan of Narset, I love this deck, and it always makes for an interesting game, even when it loses. Keep the updates coming!

i went 3-1 with this friday, the only loss being to U/W control. I literally could not play anything without it getting countered or exiled shortly after. It was impossible to get narset to stick with him always having 2 or 3 counters in hand. i was getting bad draws but im not sure if i could have won it anyway. I might have to alter the side just for him since i know he will be playing that deck every week, but not sure what to put in.

Dieabolik, you may have the goal of the deck confused. Narset isn't the goal of the deck, it's what she brings with her in her attacks. All she does is accelerate our very powerful late game. I've been very successful against all control decks due to the amount of burn in this deck. Burning at the end of their turn eventually takes them down in life total to force them to counter our burn letting us play our powerful planeswalkers. Against control its all about baiting the opponent.

thanks, ill keep that in mind next week. i do realize narset is not the focus, but without her he was able to 1 for 1 all my walkers. it was very frustrating.

can you recommend what to take our for negate/fated/deicide vs u/w?

Do you need Fated Conflagration for Prognostic Sphinx? Against control you shouldnt want/need fated conflagration. Fated Conflagration is in sideboard against Polly k, stormbreath, and siege rhinos. If you're on the play I like to keep Generator Servant in because they force removal due to opponent being scared of a haste Narset. Usually though I use them just as 2/1 hitters that gradually hurt them while I burn their face. Ajani Steadfast is probably a good replacement for Negate as it's unlikely well have a creature out as it is. I've replaced Deicide with Erase but I usually only bring that in against coursers or enchantment heavy decks. I suppose if your u/w control opponent uses Banishing Light you can bring them in but I would probably substitute them for a couple of our own Banishing Light due to the small amount of targets. If you're worried about planeswalkers we have plenty of burn and counterspells to deal with them. Good luck!

I've been playing this deck on Cockatrice a lot lately, and the two decks I've consistently failed to beat are U/W heroic, as you mentioned already (mono white heroic decks have also given me a lot of trouble), and mono red aggro. I played 8 games over 4 matches with one guy playing the same red aggro deck and went 7-1-0. Anger of the Gods helped, but he recovered from it so fast, it didn't make a lasting difference. I'm considering putting in some Nyx-Fleece Rams as early game blockers to sideboard in. Do you have any thoughts on this?

P.S. Have you considered replacing a couple Jeskai Charms with Deflecting Palms? I have and I really like it.

I personally just don't like Deflecting Palm. I'm not saying it's a bad card but it's just one I don't enjoy playing with.

*0-1-7, whoops.

And that's fair; it doesn't do as much as Jeskai Charm obviously, but I've found that I never use the third function, and seldom use the second out of concern for needing the first down the road, so whenever I draw one I usually end up wishing it was something else. Since Deflecting Palm is easier to cast, can deal lots of damage, and can potentially save a planeswalker in a pinch (if someone Stokes it for example), I find it a preferable alternative.

ya i was hoping to hit his elspeth with the fated, his deck was nothing but card draw counters last breaths banishing lights 2 elspeth and 1 pearl lake, so i figured 2 more removal couldnt hurt.

Temporal Tresspass will be beautiful for this deck when Fate Reforged comes out. Free extra turns, woo!

I'm more excited for Ugin, the Spirit Dragon to replace Jace, the Living Guildpact.

we have a deck similar to this in our playgroup. when it hits it is ridiculous. I would suggest. take out dig, generally once you get narset, and the land to cast her having more cards in hand isn't important. instead I would run 1 Liliana Vess and 1 The Chain Veil. lilliana because she allows you to tutor cards to the top for narset to free cast, and chain because with it, and ajani you can ultimate the turn many walkers hit the field. lastly I would swap Kiora, the Crashing Wave for chandra. same as dig, having to pay to play cards off the deck isn't great, but shutting down a rhino, or playing a couple extra lands can really accelerate the deck.

sorry, just noticed you are in 3 colors, his deck is 5 LOL so just chain veil for dig unless you wanted to change you land base =)

Haha before FRF this deck was more devoted to plsneswalkers (I had 9 in main) and I was always disappointed when I tried playtesting chain veil. It felt like I was just winning more rather than it helping achieve a victory. So far this build has been very very successful against Abzan aggro, Sidisi whip, Jeskai tokens, and even U/B control

Hi, I really like your build and was curious about a couple of things. I currently do not have a Ugin, the Spirit Dragon. What planeswalker do you think would be a good temporary replacement? Also what are your thoughts of Perilous Vault in the side board for certain match-ups?
