Naru wants to party

Commander / EDH*

RurikThar

A semi-competitive deck, utilizing naru meha as not only a instant speed combo from the command zone, but also just a value creature. The deck is built to have high consistency of combo, as well as having counterspell backup.

Naru meha goes infinite with any flicker (essence flux) or copy spell (quasiduplicate). To do this, tou must target any creature with the spell first, then flash in Naru, targeting the spell with her ability. From there you can infinitely copy her or flicker her (keeping in mind that you must sacrifice the legendary tokens) as long as you continue copying the spell with naru before letting the original resolve. In order to capitalize on the infinite ETB triggers she produces, the deck runs a few (mostly tutorable) wincons (like altar of the brood). You can use a creature with an enter the battlefield ability to replace one if these effects, as long as you have a spell that can flicker multiple targets (such as ghostly flicker). The combo is separated into 4 sections: copy spells, flicker spells, ETB abusers, and redundancy/tutors.
Copy spells: Quasiduplicate Rite of replication Single target flicker spells: Essence flux Baral's expertise Release to the winds Multiple target flicker spells: Displace Ghostly flicker Illusionist's stratagem
ETB abusers: Altar of the brood Sage's row denizen Azami, lady of scrolls (tap the token to draw a card before the actual Naru hits the field) Redundancy/tutors:
