The original credit for the deck idea goes to proonjooce over at the spikes Reddit. He suggested there that Adding red might be a good idea for upping bant coco list.
I love naya colours, was playing naya wolves for some time so had all the necessary bits to start playing around with humans.
The deck runs 4 CoCo but is actually suprisingly stable even if the opponent counters it: thanks to the awesome power of Hanweir Garrison that quickly floods the board and pumps your Thalia's Lieutenant.
How it plays?
The deck is quite simple and straightforward. First try to drop as many humans as you can: from turn 2 onwards in multiples per turn basing on the synergies between them. Attack whenever possible and finish the game with one massive hit from all your army.
Important Cards and Synergies:Thraben Inspector
+
Tireless Tracker
a turn one Inspector is huge value that pays of later in the game. It's difficult to keep Tracker alive and well but once you sacrifice some clues he goes huge
Hanweir Garrison
+
Thalia's Lieutenant
probably my all time favorite combo. First Lieutenant pumps your Garrison, and then Garrison constantly pumps your Lieutenant by +2/+2 each attack phase
Hanweir Battlements Battlements are here for two reasons: 1 protect your Garrison by melding; 2 give your creatures haste in late game
Collected Company The best way to refill your board after an unfortunate Languish or any other nasty board wipe
Atarka's Command Exchangeable with Dromoka's command depending on matchup, will be probably the biggest miss after the rotation. 3 dmg to opponent + the huge number of +1/+1s you can distribute throughout the field just makes a huge difference and makes the red worth splashing
Maybe cards:Neglected Heirloom
a powerful artifact if flips a meh card before flipping. maybe worth including for the great synergy with Avacynian Missionaries
Avacynian Missionaries worth including proabaly with the sword above after CoCo rotates out
Reckless Bushwhacker my modern favourite can probably fill in the spot after Atarka's command rotation. It's 1 dmg net less but still an awesome overwhelming effect that can win a game.
