Naya Landfall deck for Pauper Classic.
Fast aggro deck, based on Landfall.
The Creatures
Plated Geopede
- a must on a landfall deck. Best landfall creature IMO. First strike is awesome.
Steppe Lynx - a pretty decent creature. Not as cool as Geopede, but can grow quickly as well.
Kor Skyfisher
- 2/3 flying creature for just 2 mana and can return a land to hand? Yes, please :)
Wild Nacatl
- Can become a 3/3 quite easily, so I guess its mandatory on a Naya zoo deck.
Hooting Mandrills
- A good finisher with Trample. After 4 or 5 hands, my graveyard will be crowded so it will be easy to cast this little fellow for just one mana.
Other Spells
Lightning Bolt - Not much to say, its THE red card :)
Journey to Nowhere
- To remove the creatures out of Lightning Bolt reach.
Crop Rotation - Perfect card to boost landfall. Can search for a Terramorphic Expanses or a Evolving Wilds, double increasing the damage.
Groundswell
- Another card to boost the damage. Perfect as well to protect the creatures against some menaces.
Rancor - Trample is great on a fast aggro deck. Specially awesome on Pated Geopede.
Adventuring Gear
- Could a landfall deck ignore this card? I guess not :)
Sideboard
Journey to Nowhere
- One additional Journey to Nowhere to help me deal with decks with heavy creatures.
Pyroblast - Mainly agains Faeries and other blue based control decks.
Feed the Clan - Against Burn and fast aggro decks. Better than Rest for the Weary IMO, even on a landfall deck.
Electrickery - Very useful against tokens.
Ancient Grudge - Great against artefact decks.
Leave No Trace - Awesome agains GW auras (and other aura decks).
